About this house rental

This lakefront property comes with 3 Kayaks, paddle boat, 2 paddle boards has almost 70 foot of lake frontage with a deck over the seawall and pier with swimming. Dock your own boat right in front! Kayak around our beautiful lake and hangout in the 2 story screened porch with the best views of the lake. Nearby attractions Lake Michigan, Dunes National Lakeshore, New Buffalo MI, Lighthouse Mall, Mount Baldy, Three Oaks Michigan, Union Pier and Sawyer. 30 minutes to Notre Dame. Kitchen has big stainless fridge and nice stainless/black stove.*** Rental does not have access to the garage. I do have a studio in the back of the house that I use when I am in town. I may or may not be there during your stay, but it is sound proofed and the entire yard/lake is yours. Very private. I do have a camera in front of my door only. Entrance to studio is is off of garage and completely separate from your entrance. The area is extremely safe and family friendly.

Great place for a group or family to reconnect and recharge. Even if you don't go out on it having the lake right outside is so peaceful. The house is large and cozy at the same time with plenty of room and has the best stocked kitchen I've experienced with rentals. The only downside is the busy intersection it's close to, although once inside it's not an issue. All around wonderful and relaxing.

Stayed here with my husband last year and decided to bring back our adult children and my parents for the weekend. The house is big with plenty of seating and beds for all. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking. The only challenge for the big group was only having one shower. Otherwise the space was great and the lake views are wonderful. The only complaint we had was the road noise in the upstairs bedrooms was a lot at night. We had a terrific weekend and definitely hope to come back!

Don’t pass this place by without booking a stay! Our family loved our vacation in this charming, quirky home. We felt at home here, and had lots of room to spread out. Kelly is a fabulous host- readily available for help and to answer questions. Pine Lake has great fishing and accommodates boating, skiing, tubing-all sports. Laporte is a nice town with a lot to offer. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved all the amenities and closeness to Indiana Dunes NP and Indiana Dunes State Park. The noise level from the major traffic intersection one house away and the gas station directly across the street was a downside. Stairs in the house were fairly steep.

This was the 4th time I rented this property. It is absolutely perfect for our family summer vacation. The private dock allows us to take our boat, the long deck is perfect for fishing from shore or just sitting/enjoying the lake. Kids can safely swim right off the dock. Everything you need to cook together and plenty of opportunities to order in if that's what you prefer. Our favorite spot is the large screened porch for playing cards, doing a puzzle, enjoying dinner together, etc. Kelly is a very responsive host - extremely friendly and easy to work with. Can't wait to visit again!

House was perfect for a short spring break family fishing trip. Pier was not in, however, we were able to tie the boat to the sea wall. House was large enough for everyone. Porch screens need fixing but again, that was noted prior to check in. I would recommend a grab bar in the first floor bathroom to assist with handicap persons. Would stay here again. Great house for our large dog with a fenced in area from the front door and screened in patio making late night bathroom visits very easy. Very private. Property is just as listed. We found it to be clean and the lakefront location to be beautiful and also convenient to stores, restaurants, and downtown LaPorte. The rooms are spacious and there are ample beds for a larger group. The kitchen was well appointed and had many pantry items and everything you would need if you wanted to cook and eat in. The owner was easy to work with and very responsive. Have already booked again for next year and hope to bring our family back.

This property is by a very busy intersection. It's hard to park at the location because it's so close to the road. The facility is run down, poorly maintained and dirty in some rooms. It has an unpleasant smell that stayed with our clothes after we left. The screened in porch is very run down and the screens are torn and not maintained. We were very disappointed by this property and would not recommend it. She lives in the attached garage so the garage is not available for the renters to use. We spent a great deal of money for this and it was not worth it. We left after less then 24 hours after having reserved for 4 days.

It's an older place located in town, everything including AC works great and plenty of hot water for 11 people. Larger lakefront property with a dock that we trailered down a pontoon boat for. All the water toys included (paddle boards, kayaks and paddle boat). Fenced in area that we could let our small dog sniff around. Great screened in 2 story porch that's well shaded. We were able to park 5 vehicles and a boat trailer on site. Nice place all in all.

Kayaks, paddle board,and peddle boat provided lots of extra enjoyment for our grandkids. Swimming and fishing off the dock provided hours of fun. We took our own bass boat and loved that we could dock right there at the house. We were a family of 12, all had a blast. Kelly is very responsive and easy to work with. We can't wait to visit again next summer!

Had to travel to LaPorte for a kids sports tournament, and always prefer to use VRBO properties. We had intended to share the property with another family, but that fell thru, so it was just my daughter and I. Very large house for the two of us with many beds and bedrooms. I didn't even venture to the 3rd floor, but my daughter enjoyed the jetted tub. We stayed in the winter, so the lakefront was unused by us, but this would be fantastic in the summer months. Great communication by the owner. Truly enjoyed our stay here and would stay again if we found ourselves back in LaPorte.

The house was perfect for our family vacation. We had 7 adults, one teenage, and 2 dogs. The lake was perfect for cooling off when the day got hot. Checkin was easy and location was great, right on the lake. We could dock our rented pontoon right in the backyard and stop for lunch, restroom, etc. House met all if our needs especially plenty of kitchen ware for cooking and sleeping accommodations. Lived that for a small fee we could bring our 3 shelties. All in all a great stay for our family.

Great stay with huge exposure to the lake. Enjoyed our time overlooking the lake every moment we could. Rooms were very comfortable. Bonus to have cable (most other VRBOs we stay at do not). Host hasn’t taken any short cuts. Very fully stocked kitchen, shampoos, lotions etc. Great communication and easy access. Looking forward to coming back in the summer!
