Located at an altitude of 1219 meters above sea level,surrounded by magnificent mountains, lush green trees with chirping birds and with moderate climate prevailing throughout the year, Vergomont is the ideal holiday destination to relax and rejuvenate. It is in close proximity to Nainital and the drive time from Delhi does not exceed six hours. There are daily trains from Delhi to Kathgodam and Jeolikot is a short drive from there.
One can indulge in various activities like trekking, bird watching, lake visits to Nainital, Bhimtal , visit nearby temples , day trips to higher locations like mukteshwar or simply do nothing but relax in the soulful, quiet ambience the place offers.
