What a fantastic time in Yachats at this charming little cabin. We enjoyed the wood burning stove, back deck with the river nearby, walks to downtown Yachats and the Pacific Ocean. Such a warm and cozy space. Would stay again!

This was a very comfortable cabin, retaining much of the original charm of wood floors, two single beds tucked into individual alcoves on the main floor. Master bed and bathroom are in the loft, up the curvy stairs with a great view to the kitchen and living area below. We did have difficulty operating the tv but may have been user error. We did enjoy music on the cd player and the selection of cassettes. Fun character, serene surroundings and well-stocked kitchen.

I’m afraid I can’t endorse this vacation rental. The VRBO listing describes it having a pool and hot tub. Unfortunately, they weren’t open during our stay and we weren’t informed ahead of time that they would not be open. We purposely chose this location for the pool/hot tub, so were very disappointed to learn this. Property management was very courteous it felt a bit dishonest.
