About this apartment rental
This condo is located in the family friendly Garden City Beach Area just south of Myrtle Beach. This two bedroom condo is in the 16 story high rise Royal Garden Resort. The Royal Garden Resort has a large outdoor and indoor swimming pool and hot tub. Linens are included in the reservation.
Come Relax on your large private oceanfront balcony with unobstructed views of the ocean. Enjoy the resort amenities, which include 2 pools (indoor and outdoor), hot tub and outdoor kiddie pool, and cornhole. We have an onsite family friendly beach bar and grill that offers a variety of special drinks and food.
Check-in is onsite for easy and fast convenience. We can provide contact-less check-in if requested.
You are allotted two parking spaces to park in the onsite parking garage. The parking garage clearance is 6’ 8”. There are a few oversized parking spaces based on availability. Guest cannot have golf carts in the parking garage however, there is parking in front of the garage based on availability.

My husband and I rented this unit with another couple for an extended weekend. The location was excellent with wonderful views of the beach. The balcony had 4 chairs which worked perfectly. It was nice to have the pool as well as the ocean to cool off in. We enjoyed meals at Merrills Inlet. As far as the accommodations went, the unit is rather small but was clean. The second bedroom and hall bathroom were extremely small, the shower barely being big enough for an adult. Also, be sure to take things you will need like dish soap, dishwasher pods, paper towels, trash bags and things of that nature as none of it is provided. My biggest complaint would be the beds. They seemed very old and were extremely uncomfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful time with our friends. Would love to go back to the beach again, but would look at renting a different unit just due to the size and the beds. It was nice to have the parking garage, but be aware if you are driving a large SUV or full sized truck, the spaces are extremely small and it’s tough to get in and out of them.

This was a great deal for the location and time of year. The place was clean, it had DIRECT beach access, and everything was as described. I’m sure some people would complain that it needed some updates, but I don’t go to the beach to spend time with high end bedroom furniture. I highly recommend this place if you’re wanting an excellent location (on the beach and proximity to Myrtle) and a clean place to stay.

Mattresses need to be replaced. Only an additional small shower and not in 2nd bedroom. No toaster.
Otherwise ok.
