About this apartment rental
This suite sleeps six and is a top floor front unit with a full view of Babe's Beach and the 61st Pier. There is a live stream from the top of our porch at Galveston Seawallivevideo where you see the view at any time. This is the best location in Galveston across from the newly renovated Babe's Beach and some of the best fishing in Galveston at the 61st pier. Play on the beach or jump into one of the two swimming pools located at the Casa Del Mar. Later, stroll down the beach and come back to cook your catch on your own stove and full refrigerator or walk down the seawall to many of the closely located restaurants and bars such as The San Luis Steakhouse, Grotto, Blake's Bistro, IHOP, San Luis Bar, H2O Bar, Landry's Seafood or Rainforest Café. Finally, settle in and watch a movie on one of the five televisions. Newly renovated with two smart TV's, a new glass door to the patio, a new sofa sleeper, black out drapes, all new sheets and towels and a Keurig coffee maker. You will have a great time!

The property itself is a fabulous location, a quick jump to the beach, right along the Seawall, and the view was unobstructed which we greatly appreciated. The room was a bit smaller than we'd expected, could have used some more space for storage, but it was well kept and served its purpose. The two pools are the property were well-maintained and the staff and security were all very friendly. My only complaint was the lack of communication with the owner, but once we got the code, it was fine and we had no need to reach him. Overall, it was just the family vacay we needed and we had an excellent time!

Lovely view, traffic noise was a little loud, but unpreventable. Condo is a great location convenient to everything. A bit of updating in the bathroom and mattresses would have been nice. We would stay here again.

Check in was easy, just had to get a parking pass. Unit was pretty outdated, but clean. I really hate that there’s carpet in a beach rental. It just gives the place a damp feeling. Please consider At least updating the flooring!

The location and view were amazing. The only complaints I have are the fact the apartment was outdated. The carpet running through the apartment was noticeable past due for replacement. You can see the folds in the carpet from it being so old and there was a noticeable odor when we entered the room that I assume is from the carpets. We stayed last month in a different apartment that was definitely cleaner and was at a cheaper rate. Probably will not stay again for the price without updates unfortunately.
