About this house rental
Nice Cape Cod-style home located in the foothills of The Berkshires and just 11 miles northwest of Lenox and Tanglewood. The house is situated on a sunny knoll surrounded by 2.8 acres of mature woodlands that offers great privacy. The house features a modern kitchen w/ granite-counter tops, living room, dining room, two bedrooms, full bath, a screened-in, furnished 3-season porch, with TV and a day bed that converts to a twin bed on the 1st floor. The second floor offers one bedroom and a full bath with its own family room/den which includes a trundle bed that sleeps two. There is also an additional kitchen on the second floor. House is easily suitable for two-families or couples vacationing together but also offers privacy for both. The house is ideal for a romantic getaway or family gatherings and exploring the cultural riches of the Berkshires in spring, summer & fall.
Come winter, the house is great for couples or families getting together to ski at Jiminy Peak (25 min. North) or Butternut Ski Basin (30 min. South. The home is 3 minutes away from Queechy Lake, which boasts spring- fed fishing, a private beach for swimming, kayaking, canoeing and fishing. Tanglewood is just 11 miles away, along with The Berkshires' many cultural and destination attractions including the Norman Rockwell Museum, Jacobs Pillow, Saratoga Springs, Lenox, 3 ski resorts, flea markets and farm stands (in season). You can go shopping and antiquing during the day in nearby Hudson, NY or at the Outlets and then have a quiet dinner in the evening at any of the numerous fine restaurants in Lenox, Stockbridge or Great Barrington.

Lovely large property best suited for adults. We were able to use the property as a home base and complete day trips in every direction.

Beautiful and quiet location. House could easily have 2 families with one up stairs and one downstairs. The smell of the lilacs outside when we exited our cars was wonderful. We were in town for a family wedding and it was a cold rainy weekend but the house was warm and cozy with plenty of room for 6 adults.
