About this cabin rental
Our cabin is secluded, private, and furnished with everything you need. Just bring your suitcase and food. Large bedroom has queen bed, with door going onto deck. On the same floor is large bath with jetted tub and shower. Upstairs bedroom has twin beds and the living room has a queen size sofabed. If needed, you can put an air mattress on the kitchen floor. Kitchen has dishes, pots and pans, silverware, microwave, coffee pot, can opener, etc. There is a nearby playground for the kids and fishing in our pond. We are located 8 miles from Blairsville where we have great restaurants, antique shops and a large park with swimming pool and tennis. Butternut Creek and Owen Glenn golf courses are also located nearby. In the fall you can take hikes to see the leaves turn, watch the wildlife or just relax. We are 2 hours from Atlanta where there are many other attractions. Approximately 5 miles to Lake Nottely. Other attractions include the Georgia Mountain Fair, Gold Rush in Dahlonega, Vogel State park., Brasstown Bald, Appalachian Trail, Helton Creek Falls, Trackrock Riding Stables, ATV trails and ORV trails. Anything you might want, everything you might need! Just relax while sitting in the rocking chairs on the deck watching the children play on the playground! You have come to the right place. Oh and don't forget you 'HONEYMOONERS' THIS PLACE IS PERFECT.

The cabin, porch, and view were great. The cabin and outside area were very clean, dishes and pans were fairly new, and towels were fluffy. It would have been nice to know to bring toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels. We were told laundry detergent wasn't provided. A few things I would change.1. It would be nice if there was an overhead light switch in the loft area. I had to turn on the switch at the bottom of the stairs, walk up and turn on the lamp, and then walk down to turn off the overhead light.2. The stair pattern was difficult for my bifocals. It was hard to distinguish the last stair from the platform in darkened lighting. Stumbled a few times.3. Print directions from the email left on the table. I found them in my email on the last day. Mainly talking about how to use the fireplace.4. Fix the bathroom door so that it actually shuts. Oiling it would be nice also.

We stayed here for our anniversary, the cabin was cute, there isn't alot to do unless you like hiking. But we enjoyed the quiet and relaxing environment. There were deer on the property daily, a fire pit and a small lake.The property owners tended to any issues promptly. It would be a quaint place to camp with a small family with the comfort of a home.
