About this house rental
Your Elegant Taos retreat awaits you down a tree lined drive, and feels secluded yet very accessible to all that Taos has to offer. You are just a quick 10 minutes to the center of town, and a pleasant half hour drive bypassing town traffic to world class skiing in Taos Ski Valley.
The house and gardens offer a unique setting, nestled near large cottonwood trees along a wooded stream. Enjoy the serene pond and flagstone patio, lovely for outdoor dining and amazing star gazing at night.
The house warms you with gentle radiant floor heat and the Kiva fireplace to adds a glowing, cozy ambiance.
Enjoy cooking in the large well equipped chef's kitchen. Then choose to dine at the large dining table, in the more informal sunroom, or outside on the sunny flagstone patio.
Separate living room and family/TV rooms allow plenty of space for different activities.
And when it's time for sleep, the three comfortable sleeping areas are separate from each other, affording quiet and privacy for all. The downstairs master suite has a new king bed and adjacent full bath. The upstairs queen bedroom has a large adjacent room that is wonderful for yoga and meditation.There is also a twin bed and half bath upstairs. Off of the sunroom downstairs, is the third cozy sleeping nook with a queen size bed, next to the second full bath.
You will appreciate the new comfy mattresses, cotton sheets and fine bedding.
The convenient laundry room has a front loading washer and dryer which you are welcome to use.
We welcome you to Taos and to our very special home. Our wish is to see that you are comfortable and all of your needs are met. We are just next door, so we are conveniently nearby should you need anything!

A perfect location for me. It's a mile away from the Ranchos Church (San Francisco de Asis), and 5-6 miles from Taos plaza. The house is spacious and well appointed, has wonderful outdoor spaces (my family loved the fire pit and the trampoline), a terrific kitchen and is excellent for entertaining. We had family members over on two occasions and the large kitchen and dining room/living room easily accommodated us. Dan and Uma the owners were not only very welcoming upon our arrival, but checked during our stay to see if we needed anything else and to ensure we were enjoying our time in their home. A bonus---great bird watching, just by looking out the front picture window, and the friendly neighbor yellow lab joined us on our walks and on the trampoline! A peaceful, serene setting. I would heartily recommend this property to anyone who wants a feel for Taos.

Dan was very nice and helpful House is very nice. Location to several ski slopes, Taos, Red River and Sipapo were our choices. We also made a nice day trip to Santa Fe. We will definitely come back for another stay.
