About this house rental
From its waterfront perch, this vacation rental home overlooks Rockport's picturesque Pigeon Cove harbor and has spectacular, unobstructed views of Sandy Bay. The location of the home is ideal, away from all the hustle of town, but within a 10-15 minute walk to everything you might want, including Front Beach, restaurants, galleries and shops and the world class Shalin Liu Performing Arts Center.
Enjoy the water views from the deck, porch, and patio that grace each level of the home or from just about every room. You'll enjoy nature's show, the ebb and flow of the tide, with the quiet passing of the lobster boats and their omnipresent gull followers.
The living room, with sliders to the wraparound farmers porch, is open to the dining area and kitchen beyond. This is the perfect place to watch the sunrise (if you choose), from any of the decks or waterfront yard complete with a large fire pit.
The granite kitchen has stainless appliances and stylish new cabinets.
The main floor has two bedrooms, one queen with water views and another double bedroom. There is also a full bath with a tub and shower on this level. The second floor is the primary queen suite with a sitting area, flat screen TV and sliders to its own deck with those amazing views. Air conditioning will keep you cool, even on the hottest summer days. The bathroom is separated with a sink and toilet in a separate room and another sink outside in the main room for easy access.
There is a bonus living and sleeping area on the lower level with a queen bed, double futon and flat screen TV as well as an oversized bath with a shower and laundry room. Sliders lead to the patio and spacious yard, and waterfront fire pit.

Beautiful spot. The chairs and fire pit out back are perfect. The large dining room table was more than efficient. Balcony views and chairs were great. Overall, the house was exceptionally clean. One really impressive feature- they have enough outdoor chairs to accommodate the amount of people for which they advertise the house. As someone who travels occasionally in large groups, this is rare. We had one small cleaning issue, but were able to get someone in to take care of it. I would definitely come back. Important to note- the full bed in the garden room is on rollers. The bed was tough to keep in place. I hope the owners will consider putting a real bed in the space.

First, the EXQUISITE VIEW:from 2 balconies & lower level sitting area with plenty of chairs and tables ,from the Adirondack chairs around the firepitfrom the picnic table during mealsFor the 3 and 5 year old grandchildren, the sand play was a hit We would love to return in 2026. Suggestion to upgrade the bed mattresses to firmer support :)

Our family absolutely fell in love with Rockport!! And we are SO happy with this house we chose. At first we thought we would’ve liked to be walking distance to town, but the more we evaluated it, we realized our private waterfront location was perfection! It was quiet and peaceful and beautiful. And watching the lobster boats come and go was entertaining - and surprisingly quiet and NOT smelly. We will 100% rent the same house on our next visit.

No one can sleep downstairs if it’s cold out because the heater is very loud! Thankfully there were only 2 couples so we all slept good. Other than that, the house worked very adequate for us. The views were great, and The Blue Marlin restaurant was great!
