Just finished a wonderful, refreshing stay at this truly unique property. The interiors are absolutely stunning, but what really made the experience special were the countless cozy nooks and inviting spaces throughout. Our stay included a mix of sunshine and rain, and the property was perfect for both—whether we were lounging by the pool on a beautiful day or curling up with a book while listening to the rain.We had such a memorable time here and couldn’t recommend it more highly.

We couldn't have been happier with this beautiful and well-appointed property. The views, the decor, the wildlife (birds, fox, deer and beaver!), the proximity to wonderful restaurants, great hikes and historical destinations. And did I mention the view? We loved sitting on the porch looking out over the river at the bridge and Olana beyond. Easy trek into Hudson or up into the Catskills. Juan was welcoming and responsive. We would love to return!

Driving in through the gated entrance, you know you have arrived at some place special. An amazing vista of the river and hills awaits you. The grounds and the pool are wonderful. The fenced in area around the pool was great for our dogs. The home is clean, open, bright and nicely appointed. The kitchen is huge with everything you could need. The master bedroom is large and comfortable. Very peaceful outdoors yet still close to dining and shopping. Juan is accommodating and responsive. We could not have made a better choice for our stay.

Juan's home in Catskill is a wonderful respite. The design is outstanding, and especially great for chefs, of which we had 4 cooking a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. The home, the design, the views, and the cozy, chic vibe was a tremendous gift. We recharged, restored our souls and had the best time. I highly recommend Windmere!-Wendy Maitland
