Margaret River Farmhouse - Serene Bushland Getaway

This is a fantastic house and a great choice for a remote break from Perth.

Internet didn’t work. Despite numerous attempts and messages no one tried to fix it. We were just in an AI loop asking us to repeat the same actions. Quite frustrating, even though we were only there a few days.

Spacious and exceeding well equipped

It’s a beautiful house, very spacious, 2 bedrooms upstairs have aircon, super quiet with amazing outlook over the grass (which unfortunately was super dry when we were there). You can see kangaroos in the morning and evening. Nice that a Nespresso and tea and milk for 2 coffees was provided. Pots provided were good stainless steel. Big fridge. Great space to relax. Dishwasher, thank God, in contrast to other places. Cooking oil, salt, pepper was there which we brought but was helpful.

The beds were not that comfortable. We did not find it that clean (my feet were black from the floor). There was a cockroach on the first night (I know they can come in from the outside), fly screens had spider webs inside and outside, there was dried on kangaroo poo on the veranda and spider webs around table and chairs outside on the deck, washing line outside was not working. Pans very super scratched. Location is a bit remote, takes time to get to places and it’s a dirt road to get to which may be good to specify as many car rental companies don’t allow dirt road.

Every room was full of cobwebs and spiders, some dirty linen found on arrival, only one room air conditioned.
