Wish to stay here again

This is the full ground floor of a house. Big living room and sleeping room. A lot of light and fresh air! All equipment is in a good condition, you can immediately start living there. 150 TV channels (147 of them in German). Central location, all entertainments of Eifel are at equal distance (2+km).

The bed was too soft... Also, just a side note to other travellers: it is too difficult to access anything without a car.

Quiet, private, nice place to relax for a few days…surrounded with a beautiful nature! We wish we could have stayed longer. We felt very welcome at family Marx! Thank you!

Exceptional

Great place to rest for a little while, while discovering beautiful Eifel! Rursee ist five minutes away and Heimbach can be visited in a ciuple of minutes as well. Nice hose, incredibly generous and ready to give helpful suggestions and great tips. I sure will be back: already planning!

Quiet base for a hiking vacation

The bathroom, heating and bedding were good. The host was not there when we checked in but made sure to come by later and give valuable information about the region. Leaflets were prepared as well.

There is no usable wifi. The furniture especially in the living room is old and run down and the apartment has a 'room freshener' (?) smell that we had to air out first.

Geweldige uitvalsbasis om de Eifel te verkennen

Helmut en zijn vrouw zijn uitmuntende hosts. Omdat we per trein arriveerden, boden ze aan ons op te halen en bij vertrek ook weer te brengen. Heimbach zelf is op loopafstand met tal van voorzieningen en restaurantjes. De accommodatie is de schoonste die je ooit zult tegenkomen en van alle gemakken voorzien om te slapen en koken, zelf een hoop kledinghangers. En als er iets is, staat Helmut klaar om je te helpen. Doordat het verblijf een eigen deur net achter de voordeur heeft en je van beide sleutels krijgt, heb je genoeg privacy om zelfstandig in het appartement te bewegen. Dit is een geweldige uitvalsbasis om de Eifel te verkennen en we komen er graag een keer terug.

Het enige wat we minder vonden waren de bedden en -beddengoed, dat zou wel een keer vervangen kunnen worden.

Erlebnisreicher Urlaub in der Eifel

Ich hatte eine erlebnisreiche Woche in der Ferienunterkunft von Helmut Marx, um den Nationalpark Eifel zu erkunden und wandern zu gehen. Der Gastgeber war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Kommunikation im Vorfeld problemlos. Der Check-in verlief völlig unkompliziert. Die Wohnung war sauber, gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen längeren Aufenthalt braucht. Besonders positiv: die ruhige Lage und der Parkplatz direkt am Haus – praktisch und stressfrei. Insgesamt ein angenehmer Aufenthalt, den ich gern weiterempfehle.

Für meinen Geschmack war das Bett (die Matratze) etwas zu weich. Aber das ist nur meine persönliche Meinung.

Van alle gemakken voorzien, zelfs berging voor ebike. Heerlijke bedden en fijne douche en goed uitgeruste keuken.

Prima verblijf dicht bij mooie Rursee.

Mooi ingericht appartement, prima keuken met veel keukengerei, goede badkamer met ruime douchecabine, twee goede bedden, rolluiken bij alle ramen in zit- en slaapkamer, gezellige woonkamer, perfecte wifi, prima en uiterst vriendelijke ontvangst van host met uitleg en verblijftips (mwr vele folders voor wandelen en fietsen), parkeren voor de deur, locatie op loopafstand van Rurtalsperre / Rursee, stalling van fiets in af te sluiten tuinhuisje, klein terrasje aan voorzijde.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen, schöner Ausblick und idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Der Gastgeber ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist schön ausgestattet, bietet viel Platz, ist sehr sauber und gemütlich.

Besser kann man es nicht mehr machen.

Ich nutze viel und oft Ferienappartements, da ich Hotels nicht so mag. Ich hatte bislang viele Ferienwohnung gebucht. Aber diese Ferienwohnung hat meine Erwartungen bei weitem übertroffen. Schon der Empfang war so herzlich und nett. Alles würde in Ruhe erklärt und gezeigt. Die Wohnung fühlt sich an, als hätte man sie für ein gemütliches Wohnen für sich selbst ausgestattet. Es ist wirklich alles da, was man braucht. Die Küche lässt keinen Wunsch offen. Reichhaltiges Prospekt Material und Informationen rund um die Eiffel liegen da und helfen beim Planen. Ich werde sicher diese Unterkunft wieder buchen, wenn ich in die Gegend fahre. Der Betreiber gibt einen nicht das Gefühl, ein Fremder oder ein Gast zu sein, sondern das Gefühl, er begrüße einen guten Freund. Danke für die wunderschöne Zeit.

Gut gelegene Wohnung mit bequemen, weichen Betten!

Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Die Betten können einzeln gestellt oder zusammengeschoben werden und sind etwas weicher - daher für uns sehr bequem. Ruhige Lage, von der Wohnung kann man direkt loswandern.
