12 of us drove out from Pittsburgh to celebrate the 40th birthday of a close friend. The property was spectacular and was conveniently located close to Seven Springs. The kitchen was perfect for cooking dinner for a big group, the dining room had a great ambiance for facilitating dinner-time conversations, and the double fireplace in the living room kept our entire group cozy through the cold nights. Will definitely be staying here again.

We have stayed at this property a few times now and it always exceeds our expectations. The home is absolutely gorgeous, the amenities are top notch, and the property owners could not be nicer to deal with. We have been lucky enough to get snow each time we visited and the real working fireplaces make for the most amazing winter getaway. However, we wouldn’t hesitate renting this beautiful home any time of the year! If you’re looking for a perfect mountain stay, don’t hesitate and book this home!

This historic brick farmhouse is one of the best VRBO properties we’ve ever booked. It has been restored to an authentic Central Pennsylvania delight. The wood floors gleam, the kitchen is fully stocked with housewares, the three bathrooms were spotless and in perfect working order. Beautiful, comfortable beds. There were only three of us, but could have easily included several more. We highly recommend this place!

This was a true getaway for a family of chefs! The kitchen gave 3 chefs the elbow room to work their magic and all the family to flow into the space and visit (rare treat!...The cd collection of John Denver & Celine Dion rarer still!)The many hearths, dining spaces, lounging areas and indoor/outdoor gathering areas were perfect for breaking bread, family games and connecting. The back 40 beckoned for a game of flag football. Time stood still here. The tranquility of this space kept us here for the entire time. We were loathe to leave it and each other. Thank you, Chris and Dawn. Your home is magical. -Jennifer M
