The house was clean, comfortable and spacious. Close to the ferry, beach and Flynn's. Very convenient location. The homeowner was very responsive. Air conditioners in the bedrooms was nice to have (even though it was September to help with humidity) but the seal around the window units was not good and some screens in the areas without A/C were torn allowing mosquitoes in. There was no sound system, not even a working speaker to stream from.Unfortunately the water pressure was not good. Also, the house was not equipped with useful essentials like hand towels or aluminum foil. We were only going for a long weekend and weren't preparing meals so we didn't think we needed to stock up with basic supplies. Luckily I did bring paper towels that we used in the bathrooms in lieu of hand towels. We have been renting on Fire Island for over 20 years and basics have always been supplied. The house was fine for what we needed, a clean place to stay together for a multiple day wedding.

Accommodations were sweet and cozy. Deck chairs provided a nice comfortable option in the evenings except for the mosquitoes who were uninvited.
This home is lovely but is in need of a deep cleaning or change out of rugs and slip covers. The pots and pans were burned / scarred and oven needed a good cleaning. The yard could also be more manicured and neat
Our host was lovely and accommodating however. She worked promptly with VRBO when our first day was overbooked and got us our refund right away. Just a few tweaks and we would surely return.
