"Mi casa, su casa." We welcome you to share Casa de Banderas, our home away from home! We are a semi-retired couple who love to bring family & friends to enjoy the Bay, and we make our casa available on a limited basis to "friends we haven't yet met."
Welcome to your private oceanfront escape in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle — a bright, modern two-story townhome with your own private pool, sweeping Bay of Banderas views, and direct access to a quiet stretch of beach. Our casa is located ~25 minutes' drive north of the Puerto Vallarta airport, right on the ocean, between the small Mexican towns of Bucerias and La Cruz. You can walk to either town at low tide on the beach, ~ 3km each way (some jetties to navigate).

Upper Level
- Primary Bedroom: King bed, A/C, closet space, balcony, and a breathtaking view of the bay
- Second Bedroom: King (can be split to two twins) with A/C, closet, "lending library" and natural light
- Full bathroom with walk-in shower
- Linen closet with extra towels & pillows
Both bedrooms are tastefully decorated in Mexican decor. Blackout curtains are ready for late sleepers, or use the sheers to let the pink sky welcome you to a new morning.
Outdoor Living - Your private outdoor area is designed for relaxation:
- Private pool (professionally maintained)
- Ocean-front terrace with seating
- Direct stairs to beach
- Loungers for sunbathing
- Shaded seating for reading or morning coffee
- Grill (propane gas) and outdoor dining setup for savoring local fresh catch
- Sandy beaches in both directions
A laundry room adjoins the well-equipped kitchen with newer appliances. Available & optional weekly maid service enhances your vacation, while the pool and yard are maintained for you (twice weekly). Beach towels, a small cooler and beach chairs will enhance your excursions to the best beaches in Mexico. Don't forget the sunscreen!
A rental car is useful but not critical, as the bus stop is about 3 blocks away and taxis are reasonable. A taxi phone number is provided, and there is a taxi stand at nearby Punta Esmeralda.
Enjoy sightseeing tours and activities such as surfing, horseback riding, whale watching, fishing, zip lining through the jungle canopy and mountain biking, to name a few. Our bilingual property manager is a wealth of information and only a phone call away.

The owner was welcoming and took the time to explain the home, house rules, nearby community, and shopping areas. The host was charming and friendly, providing helpful details about the property and its do’s and don’ts. The beach was beautiful, with safe swimming nearby and many local vendors selling food along the shore. The sunsets and sunrises were excellent. Highly recommend this stay

This was our 3rd time staying at this fabulous property. We LOVE LOVE LOVE visiting each year. Private, peaceful, comfortable, and easy to get everywhere we need to go!

This place was exactly how it was listed. It is a bit out of town however we had transportation available or we took a taxi. Having a private pool was a huge bonus! Management was always available however we didn’t need them much, it was all great!
