About this house rental

This beautiful architect-designed home, located at Keystone Resort, overlooks the Snake River. The home is one mile from Keystone Mountain ski area, and one-half mile from the River Course golf course.

Built of natural cedar, Keekorok has 2,400 square feet of interior space, plus an enclosed garage. The house features an open-plan living and dining room with 17-foot-high vaulted redwood ceilings, oak floors, a fireplace, and picturesque views of the Snake River and Ten Mile Mountain range. A deck leads off the dining room, and a modern kitchen. Four bedrooms comfortably sleep up to 8 guests: A master bedroom with a king-size bed on the lower level, a second bedroom on the lower level with a queen-size, plus two bedrooms on the upper level—one with a queen-size bed that overlooks the river, and a large split-level bedroom with a queen-size bed, a double bed, and a twin. All linens are supplied. The house is decorated with contemporary oak and teak furniture.

An extensive collection of modern art displays throughout.

The kitchen features oak cabinets and is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave oven, coffeemaker, toaster, mixer, and other assorted cooking gadgets.

The house also contains a modern washer and dryer, boiler driven heat exchangers for plenty of hot water, and a humidifier for balanced heat.

A second golf course is located one mile from the house, and the Keystone stables are half a mile down the road. Cross-country skiing, hiking, fishing, cycling, and tennis are also available at Keystone—and at the nearby old mining town of Montezuma.

Additional skiing is available at Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, and Vail ski areas—a short drive away. Summit County has excellent hiking trails in the Arapahoe National Forest—some also available for mountain biking.

There is an extensive network of paved bike trails, connected near the house. Additional golf courses are located at Breckenridge, Eagles Nest, Copper Mountain and Vail.

Summit County features Lake Dillon, a large number of excellent restaurants at all price-points, and shopping at more than 50 discount outlet stores, including Coach, J Crew and Nike.
