About this house rental
Enjoy sunsets from the privacy of the large covered lanai, a sandy beach right out front, enticing tidepools, and the serenity of the perpetual song of ocean breezes in the trees at this lovely oceanfront setting.
This versatile beachfront home can serve as the perfect romantic getaway for a couple, or comfortably accommodate a family or group of friends. The spacious, nicely manicured lawn and easily accessed beach invite both the playful frolic of children and relaxed lounging of adults. Sharing the beach with resident sea turtles is a daily highlight, and during winter months savor the opportunity to view and listen to the grandeur of the visiting humpback whales from the living room, lanai and backyard.
Choose your dining experience, from the beautiful teak indoor dining table to the comfortable and roomy environs of the ocean side lanai, which extends the length of the main house. Here you will find a beautiful outdoor dining table, cozy lounge chairs, and the punee, a large built-in lounging area which can be used for outdoor sleeping for those more adventurous souls.
Each bedroom has its own outside entrance complete with full bathroom. The large master bedroom, with king bed, opens out to the ocean through a sliding glass door and onto its own lanai. One of the other three bedrooms opens out to the ocean and onto its own lanai as well.
First class snorkeling, scuba diving and surfing is available within a short walking distance at Paniau, a gorgeous little bay at the end of Puako.

We had a fantastic time here. We were a little concerned coming here in mid July without any AC but it turned out to be fine with the windows open and using the provided fans. Honestly, it made us feel more connected with the environment not being bottled up with canned air so it really suited the experience. The kitchen was perfect and the living space also very comfortable with private bedrooms to retire to. Absolutely stunning view and location. We would definitely return.

The house was exactly as described. The view and the beach were beautiful. We saw sea turtles, birds, fish, even an eel.My grandchildren had a wonderful time. It was quiet. The sunsets were spectacular and the stars at night incredible.

We had 7 people - 2 grandparents, 2 parents, 2 kids and an uncle. We had plenty of space and everyone had their own room. We loved how the property pulls you outside and especially onto the large lanai. Mornings and coffee on the lanai were our favorite, as well as exploring the beach at low tide. We saw several sea turtles resting on rocks. The property is very private. There is no AC, which we knew, and we had the fans on the entire time. It was a warm week in late June and it was hard to be inside during the afternoon. Sleeping on top of the covers at night with the fans on was fine. It was a great property and we would be happy to come back.
