The home is older, but quaint and has the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. The community was tightly packed with houses, but quiet during our stay. The beach is long, with periods of busy activity with people and their pets, but still enjoyable.

If you're looking for a quiet seaside getaway you could do no better than this house. Plenty of room, and you can walk to the secluded beach and, if you are a runner, it is an amazing run. If you just want to stroll and pick up shells and rocks it is beautiful. The hot tub in the evening with the stars overhead was amazing. I talked to a local and development in this neighborhood is restricted with no commercial businesses allowed. So no fast food outlets, gas stations etc. which is fine as the city of Tillamook is very close.

The view from the house is indeed lovely, as is the easy access to the beach. Hot tub was also basically brand-new, which was lovely. However, there are some big misses that made the stay less than comfortable:
-While the kitchen does have many pots, pants, etc, the induction cooktop isn't compatible with many of the cookware items, which was super frustrating for us, since we planned to cook most meals.
-The couch and both chairs in the living area were really uncomfortable, leaving basically no place to sit and enjoy the gorgeous view!
-There were no beach or non-bath towels provided. In a dog-friendly property with beach access AND a hot-tub, this seems like an obvious and easy addition to me.
-Only two rolls of paper towels were provided, and only five-ish dishwasher pods. For a six-night stay, this was woefully inadequate, and required a trip into Tillamook to stock up on our own dime.
