Gîte Cigogne

Schöne Ferienwohnung mit allem was man braucht. Der Pool ist für die Kinder perfekt( sie sollten schwimmen können, versteht sich von selbst). Der Garten ist sehr groß und es gibt sogar eine kleine Minigolfanlage die der Vermieter selbst gebaut hat. Die Zimmer sind groß und geräumig, das Doppelbett groß und fest. Das Kinderzimmer mit den 3 Betten bietet auch viel Raum, falls es mal regnet. Eine Tischtennisplatte und 2 Schläger sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben einen schönen Urlaub verbracht und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Wir sind das zweite Mal hier gewesen. Es ist sehr herzlich und gemütlich. Die Gegend ist ruhig, man kann wandern oder einfach auf dem Grundstück bleiben - die Kinder sind gerne im Garten, aber noch lieber im Pool. Es gibt auch Spielplätze im Ort, auch einen Platz für diverse Ballsportarten.

Wir waren zufrieden.

Accueil très agréable. Le charme du gîte, confortable et pratique. La gentillesse de nos hôtes et leurs petites attentions. Et surtout les nombreuses petites anecdotes autour de ses hôtes, du gîte et de ses alentours que nous avons eu plaisir à écouter. C'était parfait.

The apartment was clean and roomy, and the pool was lovely and the garden was big. The lady who ran the place was extremely welcoming and friendly, sometimes she carried her baby granddaughter around the premises, and it was very sweet. Situated in a lovely, agricultural area, and a short drive to Strasbourg.

The pool opening hours were not clear. Opening times are understandable, but it should be stated exactly when these are, and not just at the discretion of the owner. We booked this place specifically because of the pool. Because of the dry summer, there were also water restrictions. No splashing, jumping etc. allowed. We should have been notified of this beforehand, being on holiday and telling an 8-year-old every 2 minutes not to splash and only to get in and out of the pool by the ladder, was very stressful. The amenities/supplies weren't great. No hand soap, no dishwashing liquid, dishcloths or teatowels etc. We had to go to the supermarket the day after we arrived and spend 40 euros on these essentials. I would have brought these with me, had I known. No fans, which i'm sure is a personal choice, but in the European summer either a fan or air conditioning would be expected. No fly screens on the windows either, so if you left the window open at night in order to get enough fresh air, mosquitoes came in.
