This vacation house is situated 1 mile across San Francisco International Airport. Located in the beautiful commercial city of San Bruno, Ca. Surrounded with hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, department stores, movie theaters, parks and recreations. Near golf courses and casinos. Walking distance to Caltrain and in between two Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART)stations. Near bus stops, 18 miles south of downtown San Francisco and about 45 minutes drive to San Jose. This house is meticulously built and designed by the Owner who is a General Contractor with elegant luxurious interiors, with five bedrooms, four bathrooms, two jacuzzi tubs with jets, all bathrooms equipped with shower jets, two toilets with remote controlled bidet, master bathroom has double sink, with separate shower enclosure, and jacuzzi tub, indulge yourself with a hot water jets massage on days that is not hectic. This house has all the comfort of an extra ordinary home, perfect for family and friends to stay together in one roof for wedding events, family reunions, group outings, etc. Our goal is to make our guests think of this vacation home whenever they come to San Francisco.

Everything is fine, the only complaint we have is we need 14 quarters to use the laundry room which we couldn’t find that much coins among 12 us in the house.

The house was perfect for the five adults in our group. We used four of the five bedrooms and the four bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The house does not have AC (which we were aware of) but once the windows were opened it cooled down. Temperatures were in the low 70s during the day during our stay and in the 60s in the evening.

I wouldn’t recommend this home. The homeowners are disorganized (forgot we were coming), the home is not clean, the outside is a mess (unused truck in driveway, junk on the side), decor lacks any sense of style or sense. When we got there, the owner had workers at the house. They were all surprised we were there. He even asked if we had reservations!! Not worth the money!!!!

There were 7 of us staying in the San Bruno home. Travel to San Francisco was easy. The home was clean and well equipped with supplies. Everyone in our group had their own bedroom and bath, which was great! We enjoyed watching the comedy channel in the evening and laughing together. Would definitely recommend this home!

The owner called to cancel our reservation super late (after 5pm) on check-in date due to double booking while we were halfway to the property . It is absolutely non-professional. My family was really tough on looking for a new vacation home at that moment. Although the homeowner did offer a hotel near by but as my family planned to stay at a vacation home so we did packed a lot of fresh food to cook there, we could not accept that offer. We finally found a new vacation home and the owner agreed to book it for us. Thanks for that but we still have really bad impression on booking that property from Vrbo. No trust…..

We stayed with a party of 11 at the property, There was plenty of room and we used it as a "base camp" to do excursions with the two rental cars we had. Everything worked out great, is as advertised, and communication was easy and very helpful. Can recommend :)

The host was responsive and the house is conveniently located near the airport. Very comfortable. Everything worked. The master bedroom (2) were especially impressive. A lot of ethics food options in walking distance. We ate at several Chinese restaurants. All were good. We especially liked 新中华 which was opened recently. The good was othentic and good portion. We would certainly stay here again!

We stayed at Marias home as a group of 10. Ages 2-58. We loved the place. Very spacious with plenty bathrooms. We were able to enjoy our Thanksgiving holiday dinner with full amenities. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a large group of folks staying at this house and everything was pretty comfortable for all concerned. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment, the house was very clean, and there was room for all of us to spread out. The only recommendation we would have is that if you don't like a firm bed, then the twin beds would be too stiff for you. Off street parking was good for all of us. Thank you.

The San Bruno house is in an excellent neighborhood, and was large, with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The house is well built and fun for children of all ages. Loved the decor and the structure. It is solid with craftsman like quality. Having the dining room separate, was great for playing a board game. The biggest issue we had was the heat for the downstairs. Maria did meet us when we were unpacking and told us about heaters, but the weather was warm at that time and the upstairs was almost too hot. But then the storm/cold came and we were cold during the downstairs time. We were not at the house much, since our time was a vacation to see the SF/Oakland sights and family in Modesto. With 13 of us, there was not much free time to figure out the heaters. Maria did try to tell us, but with 7 children ranging from 2-17 it was wonderful chaos most of the time :) We did look for heaters one evening, but could not locate them. There were smaller items which we ran out of or were not there, that we could have used. We ran out of toilet paper and had to buy our own. The kitchen had one dishtowel and no dishrag. One of the oven mitts had a gigantic hold in it.... I tossed it because of fear we would try to use it before seeing the hole. We cooked three dinner meals for 13 of us. We certainly could have also used a spatula and a whisk. Over all it is a beautiful house,. (The upstairs master closet sliding door came off it's hinges. We tried to fix it but we didn't have the correct tools). Minus a few quirks, we had a wonderful time there and certainly appreciated the great location as well.

We recently had a family of 11 stay in Maria's wonderful home and were very pleased with the number of bedrooms, and the biggest plus was the number of bathrooms! There were a few things in the house that were not working (toaster, light bulbs, etc); so I left a list of these things for Maria so that she could address getting them fixed, and she contacted me afterwards thanking me for doing this because they were things she would never know were not working had someone not pointed them out for her. The one negative was the mattress on the pull-out bed in the master suite. It was worse than anyone could imagine trying to sleep on because it truly was just metal springs with some thin fabric over it. Some of the springs had even broken through and both of my sons that attempted to sleep on it got cut by the springs. One son decided sleeping on the floor would be more comfortable than that mattress. I did let Maria know about this and suggested she look into replacing this mattress because it was a liability. Again, she appreciated the feedback because I am sure she had never slept on this mattress to know how uncomfortable it was. I highly recommend this house because it is a great size with wonderful amenities for the price! The only reason the price is so reasonable is that the house is about 30 mins outside of San Francisco; so if you do not mind driving a little more to save the housing money, this is the house for you! Just having 4 fully functional bathrooms for a large group all trying to get ready at the same time was well worth the money!! Thank you, Maria, for sharing your home with us! The house needed lots of TLC. VRBO listing indicated handicap accessible and was NOT. Many stairs and very steep driveway so not recommended if you need handicap access. No backyard and very little outside sitting room. There was an old refrigerator, a lot of building materials laying all over, which was very hazardous, and old cars competing for what little space there was in the back. The house is only a mile or so away from the airport so there was considerable noise. Since there was no air conditioning, the windows had to be open so the planes were an annoyance but we got used to them by the end of the stay. We were, to say the least, not impressed. We will not be back.
