About this lodge
The Lakeshore Lodge is a stunning, 5-bedroom retreat on the shores of beautiful Lake Pend O'Reille. Located at the end of a tranquil, traffic-free lane, Lakeshore Lodge offers blissful seclusion yet is only 3 minutes from the Dover Bay community and 7 minutes from Sandpoint, Idaho - voted America's 'Most Beautiful Small Town' by USA Today and Rand McNally.
Lakeshore Lodge is all North Idaho - big beams, big trees, big views - but step inside and you'll discover a retreat that is more chic than rustic: the wood and stainless steel kitchen; the ridiculously comfortable leather sofa set; the elegant tiled bathrooms; the spacious bedrooms (all but one facing the lake); the ample second-floor deck; the jacuzzi etc.
Just a few steps from the front door brings you to our private deck and L-shaped dock. You'll enjoy this special spot all year round: swimming, boating, paddling or just admiring the glorious views across the lake with a glass of wine in hand.
The expansive backyard is big enough for a family soccer match and includes a large jungle gym for the little ones. The back deck is perfect for barbecuing and has a large jacuzzi for relaxing tired muscles after a long day skiing at Schweitzer or hiking the area's numerous trails.
The Lakeshore Lodge has five bedrooms: two on the ground floor and three (including the master) on the second floor. The standard bed set up is three queens, one twin and a double set of bunk beds (big enough for adults.) We've also got a high-quality queen blow-up bed for bigger groups. Two big families? Three couples? No problem.
It has three bathrooms: one downstairs (2 sinks, 1 shower, 1 toilet) and two upstairs (master en suite with 2 sinks + shared bathroom for the other two bedrooms.)
Other appliances / amenities of note: LCD TV with cable, DVD player, wine fridge (I can stock with bottles from my collection if you're interested), gas fireplace with hearth.
Another plus: my property manager is your next door neighbor, and my relatives are all over town. There will always be somebody who can help if you have any issues or need local guidance on where to go and what to see!

Well stocked kitchen. Simple check-in & out. Very clean property. Great lake access. Enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. Only complaint is the window coverings in each room let in too much light. Makes for kiddos being up really early! Enjoyed our time & would like to stay again, but I believe the price for next year is quite a bit higher.

Our group of 10 greatly enjoyed our stay at the Lakeshore Lodge. The place was well furnished, the kitchen was well stocked, and the numerous games, puzzles & books and the hot tub kept us entertained. The location was also excellent--right on the lake, very close to Sandpoint, and 30 mts from Schweitzer. Communication was always prompt as well. Highly recommend.

First of all, the views! This home captivates you immediately with stunning views of the lake. It's breathtaking. The home is so we'll appointed. Really, Scott has thought of everythingb and knowing Bridget was so close to help with whatever we needed was really nice. The location is perfect. Situated on the lake with private dock, fire pit, playground, and hot tub. Never run out of things to do and if you just want lay around and sun on the dock this is the perfect placeb to do that. The neighborhood is really quiet and peaceful. There is really nothing about this I would change. We've booked for next year and we're all already counting the days to come back. We're hoping we will get to see our unexpected guest next year as well! The biggest bull moose we've ever seen! We were all thrilled to be visited by him five of the eight days we were there. Unforgettable! So many memories were made! Thank you for sharing this slice of heaven with us!Cheers! Cris and Travis Remick
