Welcome to our home!
Large, comfortable home great for multiple families, business retreat or a weekend with friends. Luxury Memory Foam beds, gorgeous views, fireplaces, and just a short walk to Newport's Historic Bay Front. Once you stay at Bridgeview you’ll be planning to return!

We are a family of 7 so the kitchen is fully stocked with more than enough plates, condiments, spices, large pots and pans, etc. The game room has all the classics: monopoly, Uno, scrabble, Risk, Cribbage, plus ping pong, poker table and more! Back yard is fenced for your fur babies.

If there is an emergency, I have a fabulous local support team to help.

We enjoyed the large dining room table for our meals and Card games… it was nice that everyone had their own space… it must’ve been a while since other people have stayed there cause there were a lot of cobwebs.Downstairs bathroom sink is very slow drain so it was nice that we had three bathrooms

Great place, great location. The place needs a little maintenance. Front door handle just about fell off. When arriving through the front door there was a smell. The sliding glass door had water in the bottom of it because the weep holes were plugged with moss. A lot of the windows had water setting in them due to being clogged. DVD player does not work, wont read the disk, I tried several. The kitchen stove light was inoperable. That being said I would rent the house again. in

Really enjoyed the time here. House is very big with room for extended family, and plenty of bathrooms, gathering spaces, etc. Great view of Newport harbor from the deck, short walk from all of the waterfront stuff. Check-in process was smooth, communication excellent. Could use some updating, but overall a clean, comfortable, fun place, especially for a larger group. Thanks for a nice stay!

I was in Newport with a group of other researchers for a week of field work and Rene's place was a fantastic base of operations. Plenty of room for us to set up in the garage, spread out around the house, cook, and unwind on the deck with a spectacular view of the Newport waterfront. Within easy walking distance of historic Newport and a short drive to commercial area along 101. The house has many rooms -- even with a team of 7, it never felt full. Really well equipped kitchen.

Amazing view of the Bridge and Bay! Loved that we all (4 couples and 2 singles) had our own rooms to sleep in. Lots of spaces to spread out and a giant table to have dinner at. Rene (the host) was amazing (answered my zillion questions quickly) and was very accommodating on some special requests. Would rent again for sure!

The upper living area, the balcony, and game room had a great view of the historic bayfront! The location was a close walk from the bayfront (there is a steep hill on the walk back). Neighbors were friendly. The house itself was huge! The owner was helpful and replied quickly to my questions. Would definitely be back!

We have stayed here before. It is perfect for a large group and to do some light cooking at the house. It is not a 4 star hotel, but perfect if you want even your fur babies with you. I would stay again and recommend it for a big family and pets.

I needed to book a house for a last minute family emergency in town and Rene was very accommodating. The house was exactly what we needed and met all expectations. We even had enough room for a small get together on the deck. Nice views and very comfortable, full of amenities just like home. Thank you.

We loved the location and there was ample space for my family and dogs. The host is very friendly. That being said, the house was unclean. We actually found dirty dishes in the cupboards. There is an ant problem, and our dogs came home with fleas! For charging guests the amount they do for cleaning fees, that is unacceptable. The heat didn't work properly so the first night it was freezing In the front part of the house and blazing hot in the back. To the point my husband had to go sleep on the couch. The host got someone in there the next day to fix it, so the remaining trip was fine. There was also some additional fees that im not sure what was for. Did not notice it initially when i booked. I would not stay here again

The only problem we had was the neighbor. We were on the deck visiting (it was still daylight out). The lady opened her window and was starring out at us. My husband said, "Hello, how are you?" She responded by saying "I would be a whole lot better if you would just shut the F*** up". My husband said to her to have a nice evening. We were quite surprised because we were not loud, just normal tone of voice.

We needed a house that would accommodate a group for a family dinner and this house worked well — big dining room table, plenty of seating area for relaxing. We appreciated being able to take our dog. We enjoyed the view of the bay and the bridge. There were a couple housekeeping issues which we relayed to the owner so I assume they will be addressed [disposal needed attention and a few other things].

The house is spacious and served us well. We took a last minute trip to the coast from the 100+ degree weather in central oregon. My son and family were visiting from their home in the Colorado mountains. Renee’s Vrbo provided a great base for exploring beaches and walking into old town. Renee was amazing with immediate responses to any question I had.

We spent a lot of time crabbing, walking the bay front, and walking on the beach. This house was really nice to come home to and eat lunch on the front deck and have a bay view. The beds were very comfortable so we felt refreshed after our trip.

The property had great space for everybody to hand out together or do their own thing. The dogs loved the backyard. The kids loved the ping pong table! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home and a nice big table to eat together. Everything was clean, organized, and easy to find. Beautiful view of the harbor, and shops along the bay are in walking distance. The host was super easy to work with!

Comfortable home with plenty of space for whole family. Short walk downhill to bay with shops and restaurants. Couple miles from beach. Fully stocked kitchen with gas range. Only issue is blinds in bedrooms let lots of light in. It was issue because trying to get little ones to sleep before dark. Grandsons loved the bunk beds! Rene super responsive when had issue with dryer. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. ❤️

Bridgeview home is such a perfect destination, that we extended for an additional two weeks! (see prior review Theresa B). Our kids and their kids joined us for a long awaited family reunion and Bridgeview did not disappoint. The home is large and comfortable and well equipped for our large crowd. Game room is enormous, with tons of fun for all, TV room is also so spacious, and made movie nights so fun. (Host provides a popcorn maker and bowls!). Visits to Newport Aquarium, Yaquina Lighthouse Park with its miles of spectacular beach, historic Nye Beach, Bay Front just minutes from Bridgeview - you can watch the working fishing boats come and go from the front deck and front porch, walk the docks and pick up fresh crab from the fishing boats - all make for an amazing getaway experience. Highly recommend.

We've travelled to Newport for years, and BridgeView Bay House is our best experience ever. Accommodations were exactly as described; the house is large, spacious, yet welcoming and cozy with multiple great places to sit by the fire, or play games, bake with the grandkids, and etc.. Amenities are as described, with everything to make your stay a success. The decks are wonderful, both back and front, and invite you to spend your evenings outside taking in the spectacular view of historic Yaquina Bay. There's a delightful well maintained fenced little yard for folks who bring their dogs. Icing on the cake for our dog loving family. Location is exactly as stated - walk to the bayfront is 5 minutes tops, with fabulous restaurants, colorful little shops, fascinating fishing boats, seafood shops, coffee bistros, and etc. Something for everyone. We will definitely be back. Memories to last a lifetime!!!

The house was amazing. The listing says there is a hot tub, but we didn't see one anywhere. That was okay because we spent a lot time on the bay front anyway. The rooms are awesome, beds are really comfortable. I definitely plan on renting this house again in the future, and my friends plan to bring their kids next time. I highly recommend this property, owner communication was phenomenal.
