Situated in lovely Jamaica Beach beside the Galveston State Park, the house is the ideal home for a multi-family vacation getaway. The house features fishing/boat deck, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, grill, bikes, kayaks, and much more. The awesome waterfront location offers a great view of the sunset over the water as well as a cooling ocean breeze.

You will feel right at home with granite counter tops, spacious kitchen and new appliances. The main floor living room features a very spacious yet cozy area with a wide screen TV to entertain. Two large dining tables inside and out and all necessary kitchenware is provided. Twi remodeled full bathrooms provide no waiting time. One bedroom contains two twin bunk beds, for four kids to enjoy staying together.

With a gigantic waterfront deck on the main floor with loungers and built in benches, you will have amazing ease entertaining outside or relax by fishing from a height.

The ground floor features boat deck with a deck ladder which offers the perfect spot for fishing in the shade, jumping into water, dropping in the crab cages or launching out the kayaks with life vests we have available. A large grassy front and side yard offers a great area for children to play and adults to cookout. Bored in house? Go explore the lagoon front neighborhood or head down to the beach which is less than 1 mile away with the bicycles we have also provided.

Had a great time at this canal house! The location was quiet and peaceful, with easy access to the water. Caught fish right from the backyard dock. House was clean and comfortable, great place to relax after a long day of fishing.

We had a really great time at this house. We slept 9 comfortably. 2 in bedrooms one & two, 4 in bedroom 3 that has double bunk beds and one on the couch! House was stocked with kitchen utensils and all its necessities. We also used the Webber propane grill and it was excellent for cooking! All 3 kayaks were a nice amenity as well. We caught lots of fish from the dock it self along with at least 10 crabs in the crab cage! There’s also a good size convenience store at the entrance of the neighborhood. Jamaica beach is right across the street with plenty of room to park and set up canopies! There’s a bait shop like 5 mins up the road and a small local restaurant as well. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and David was very communicative and answered all my questions promptly!

We enjoyed the large kitchen and dining area for entertaining. There was plenty of sleeping space with very comfortable beds and soft sheets. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. We used the downstairs outside area for visiting and grilling. The property provided everything we needed and expected.

The house had everything we needed for our 3 day Memorial Day weekend. Teens really enjoyed the kayaks, fishing, and just hanging out swimming in the canal. Not a far drive or bike down to the beach and a very great community! We also went to the community pool for a bit which the kids enjoyed as well. The house was just as listed. The kitchen was stocked with all of t GG e utensils and appliances needed for the weekend. The kids enjoyed the kayaks and floats. The only thing was the boat launch. You have to get a permit to park your vehicle and trailer at the boat launch or you will be fined. It was a little unclear if you needed the permit to just launch as I did. I drove back and parked truck and trailer at the house. I didn't get a ticket, but I may have just been lucky. All in all a Great weekend with the kids and grandkids.

The house was clean and had easy to clean hard surfaces for flooring and countertops which is perfect for a beach area rental. AC worked great and was needed during the hot and humid Texas heat to recuperate.

My family spends a week in Galveston every summer, and this house was amazing, one of the best we have rented. The kitchen was so big, and the living area was huge. All the upstairs bedrooms were very roomy. The kitchen was well supplied. The only thing we found lacking was a mixing bowl. We used the 4 cup measuring cup which worked for what we needed. The guys enjoyed the privacy of the downstairs bedroom as well as the second fridge for their cokes and beer. One big selling point was the breezeway. It has been a while since we have had a house that had such a great spot to sit outside and visit. There was always a nice breeze even in the middle of the afternoon. The only suggestion I would have is to add a black out curtain or blinds to the window in the Master bedroom bath. I was very hard to do anything with hair or makeup with the glare from the window on the mirror. Yeah, I know. That is just nitpicking. The family is already asking if I will rent it again next year. The owner responded to my questions very quickly. All in all, I would highly recommend this house.

Our family always has a good time. We were disappointed in the house- especially for the price. The TV had 4 channels- not good on a big football day. The mattresses and linens were not good and we were afraid only one kayak was canal worthy. They did like the bikes and the kitchen was fine and house was very clean.

All of my family enjoyed our weekend at this lovely canal home. The house was clean, lots of kitchenware to use, plenty of towels, spices and even a few basic canned goods in the pantry for cooking . Pretty quilts on the bunk beds too! Everyone wished we could have stayed longer! My 83 yr old parents liked the downstairs suite, the air conditioning was nice and cool, they had a refrigerator for their drinks and snacks and a private bathroom with a shower that had a ledge to sit on. The stairs to the deck were not steep at all, more like half steps so they made it upstairs easily to enjoy the view 😁. The upstairs had a huge deck with benches all around. The teens enjoyed the bunk room, boating in the canal, fishing from the deck and even made use of the kitchen oven to bake cookies. My grandkids , ages 5 and 3, used the many beach toys and mini surf boards that were in the garage and had fun at the beach everyday. We had a family BBQ, took lots of family pics at the house especially on the deck with the nice view. My brother “Rex DelRey”, a YouTube fisherman & entrepreneur took everyone out boating then enjoyed night fishing from the backyard! The green underwater lights attracted many so fish 🐠, at times they were jumping out of the water! We ended our weekend by putting solar lights out on the deck, the kids played games and we had a birthday cake for my daughters best friend. Everyone had a great time!

We arrived at our check-in time, and the cleaning crew was still there. Maybe it’s because they rushed, but the place seemed not as clean as the listing indicated. There was a dead squid on the driveway, which drew an unpleasant amount of flies. The deck railing was a safety hazard for our children. To say the place sleeps 14 is a BIT of a stretch. We loved having access to things like kayaks, fishing supplies, and crab traps! We loved the location. We are grateful we were able get ahold of the host (David) when we needed him.

David was very communicable during our stay. The A/C was a bit of an issue and did not cool the master, also the downstairs window unit was non functional and the room had developed a musty smell. Contacted David and he came out the next evening and replaced the window unit. Location was wonderful, access to kayaks and bikes definitely were great for the family.
