About this house rental
This home has master bedroom with private bath, a queen bedroom, and a bedroom with twin beds. Dining room table seats 8 to 10 comfortably. Kitchen, Dining, and Great Room all open and have great views of lake. A woodburning fireplace and large flat screen TV make house enjoyable in winter as well. Screened porch on back deck overlooking lake provides a great place to watch the sunset over the water. Two docks with chairs for lounging and ladder for swimming. Outdoor fire pit great to sit around, plenty of firewood available! Bocce ball court and corn hole provide family fun! Good place to tie up boat at dock for duration of rental, with arms and ropes to keep it from hitting dock.
Veterans Memorial State Park is less than 10 minutes away by boat or land. There you can enjoy golfing, hiking or ultimate frisbee! The Cypress Grill has a great outdoor atmosphere for dining on the water, accessible by boat or car. Another favorite local spot for pizza is The Cove, only a few minutes away. Nearby Daphne Lodge is a wonderful place to eat and was featured in Southern Living Magazine. For Mexican dining Ponchos is nearby.
There is also a hammock, 2 kayaks, and a canoe all available for your use to make your weekend more enjoyable.
We now have high speed internet via a fiber optic cable with Southern Fiberworx, this has been a great addition! The TV is DISH network.

We really enjoyed our stay. We decided to bring our meals along with to prepare & enjoy at the house. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the things we needed in preparation and the grill was amazing! Great sunsets from the dock! We definitely recommend and would come back!

This was our first time in the area so the information on where to eat and go was great. The house had everything we needed for a long weekend. Our only issue which was not an issue for a long weekend would be to update the pots and pans especially for a longer stay.
Thank you for allowing us to experience the lake, hopefully we’ll get to go again.

Property and amenities were perfect. Our complaint is that the living room and outdoor covered porch furniture was old and very uncomfortable. The seat of the wicker lounger on porch was busted and falling through. Overall the living room and outdoor furniture need to be replaced. Boat dock tie up area needs two more boat bumpers. Otherwise , this is a great location and house was perfect . Owner very responsive. We will rent this location again.
