About this resort
Situated in the picturesque village of the Canyons Resort, Sunrise Lodge offers a scenic retreat with breathtaking views of the surrounding Wasatch Mountain range. Sunrise Lodge is located at the base of Sunrise lift @ Park City Resort. The Lodge is 30 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport.

Our family really enjoyed this property, despite the fact that it was very different than the stock photos in the listing. There is no great room with 3 big windows showing unobstructed views of the mountains, and the 3rd bedroom is upstairs in an enclosed loft. There is no 4th bathroom as described in the listing. The photos are not representative of the unit. However, the unit we stayed in was clean, spacious, well-decorated, and had everything we needed. Our whole family could not come (at the last minute) due to COVID, so there was more than enough space for the 5 who made it.
The Sunrise Lodge is beautiful, the amenities are fantastic (we used the spa and health club daily). Due to lack of snow, the ski-in/ski-out lift was closed, so we walked about 5 minutes to the gondola in the plaza. There were a lot of apres ski festivities, so it was fun and the walk is really not bad with equipment. We are avid skiers and we appreciated the ski valet service. I was a little surprised that the Lodge allows skiers to walk through the building in their snow boots and that skiers keep their boots in their units. Most ski resorts discourage this and have ski locker rooms for equipment.
The front lobby is beautiful and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The 10am checkout is non-negotiable, and we had a little issue with keeping our car there past 10am (we skied the day of check-out and we wanted to leave our car there for the day). Luckily the garage was nearly empty so keeping our car for the day was eventually ok'd.
Overall, I give the Lodge and our stay 5 stars despite the fact that our unit was not what the photos show.

Loved our stay here, tons of room for all 7 of us, great amenities, and just steps to the mountain. Concierge was great and the shuttle was super convenient, we'll return!
