Nestled in a peaceful wooded setting, Tealwood is the perfect vacation home for families or groups. Just 3.5 blocks from Big Powderhorn Mountain’s main ski lodge. Relax in the new outdoor hot tub (added November 2024) or unwind in the sauna. The home also includes A/C, Wi-Fi, and 2 Smart TVs with Hulu, Disney+, and Peacock. Dogs are welcome to join in the fun at Tealwood.
Our office is right here in the Powderhorn area with on-site maintenance, housekeeping, and reservation staff ready to help. You’ll always have support nearby, and if you’d rather not stop in, we’re also available 24/7 by call, message, or email. We enjoyed the well appointed kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, sauna, and hot tub for relaxing, and resting after a long days on the ski slopes. Comfortable beds. Not a place for you if stairs are an issue. The house was clean with the exception of quite a bit of dog hair, but there was a vacuum on site and we vacuumed the furniture and carpeting, which improved the situation. Nice that pets are an option! Highly would recommend for your group.

My group had a great time at Tealwood. Reasonable walk to the ski resort in a nice quiet area. Kitchen area was nice for cooking. Parties in group were impressed and spoke highly of the outdoor hot tub.
To do better:
* Get the resort to restart its shuttle service to the hill. Stopped during covid, should rethink the policy.
* Laundry facility would be convenient for a big family over a 4 day stay.
* Large trunk in TV room worked as a table for watching TV during meals but was a bit big for adult leg room at other times.

Upon arriving at this rental there were mats of leaves from the previous fall/ winter on the decks. The patio doors had fingerprints on them. The TV above the fireplace had fingerprints on the screen. The bottom patio door is very very difficult to open and cannot lock other than the dowel in the guide that will not allow the door to open from the outside as well as the upper patio door.
Other than that it is a very private quiet setting with all amenities.
