About this villa rental
Villa Al-Andalus is located in Playa Bonita, one of the most beautiful beaches of Las Terrenas. Playa Bonita beach is home to a surf school where you can take advantage of the rolling waves for surfing, set up your lounger or just take a stroll on the beach for kilometers of an unforgettable walk. You will find also no waves within a 10 minutes walk of the villa.
Al-Andalus is located in a secured residencial area, 2 minutes walking distance from the beach. The villa has 3 bedrooms each with its own bathroom: two bedrooms with queen size beds, and the third bedroom with two full size beds. All rooms have ceiling fans and A/C. The house has a large open terrace for you to be in contact with the tropical garden as much as possible, assuring the tropical breeze to cool the villa. You will also find a TV room with wifi connection, and a Swimming Pool in the garden.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the domestic appliances needed.
Rent includes a house keeping from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM three days per week cleaning and laundry once a week of the linens (not available during Covid19). The washer is only available for stays of 10 days or more. If necessary, it is possible to hire extra help, cooking services, and/or catering (not available during Covid19).

Stunning PropertyVery sad to leave. Will be back for sure. Very homey and relaxing. Beatrice the owner was beyond helpful and always available to respond to issues. Beautiful!

Nicely sized kitchen with indoor / outdoor access which made cooking easy
Communication with owner was very difficult and there was confusion because listing on VRBO stated cleaning daily but they had changed that policy and not updated on site. All was resolved, but was a bit of a process that I could have done without.
Also, no laundry available to guests (they made an exception to do a load) but that was very surprising and new for us in a VRBO house (how do you rent a house on the beach with kids for an extended period of time and not have laundry access?)
Overall would return, but would make sure to have all these items worked out with the owner clearly in advance.
Also, the internet was very intermittent, but that might have been an overall issue in the area due to a few power outages.

It was a great stay. Great 3 bedroom Villa with excellent outdoor space including a large pool. I highly recommend staying at this place.

great location. great house and pool. we loved the covered terrace.
i would have rated the property a 5 out of 5 if the service would have been better.
the maid was not discreet at all, used the main entrance of the house (through the living room) instead of the side door to go to the kitchen. She also started cleaning the bedrooms and linnen at 9.30am on our last day, while checkout was at 12pm and did not respect our privacy. i was happy she did not work on Sunday and we could enjoy the house by ourselves
