About this house rental
This beautiful holiday home is just a few minutes' walk (500 m) from the remarkably preserved medieval walled village of Lucignano, famous for its unique elliptical shape and concentric streets. This villa is situated on a hill surrounded by olive trees and offers a breathtaking view of the most beautiful side of Lucignano and of the Chiana valley.
The house is divided into two separate large accommodations. The owners, a couple with a dog and a couple of cats who own a restaurant and are therefore busy all day for this reason, live in half of the house. A large apartment is available to guests, completely on the ground floor and with a separate entrance (3-4 steps to get in). The large garden and a swimming pool (10x5 m, open from May to September) are available together with the owners. The property is fenced and pets are welcome.
The apartment, 100 square meters, has a beautiful, private furnished terrace where you can dine outdoors. The house can accommodate up to 6 people and has 3 bedrooms (two with a double bed and one with two single beds), two bathrooms (one with a shower and one with a bath with a shower head and a hairdryer), a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area ( Oven, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, kettle) and a living room with TV (no satellite). Other facilities: internet wi-fi connection, washing machine, mosquito nets on the windows. There is a barbecue area in the garden. It is possible to put a baby cot or an extra bed on request.

Lucignano itself can be visited and offers many picturesque corners as well as shops and restaurants. In addition, it is easy to get to by public transport, which is close to the main roads and railways of some of Tuscany's main art centers. Distances: Arezzo 25 km, Siena 42 km, Cortona 29 km, Pienza 31 km and Montepulciano, famous for its Nobile wine, 25 km away. Nearest restaurant 200 m, shops in Lucignano.

Lovely home and gracious host. Its proximity to Lucignano and the highways makes it a great base of operations to explore both Tuscany and Umbria, but it is quiet and secluded at the same time.
