About this house rental
Very private coastal home nestled at treetop level yet with dramatic ocean views from every room. House was built and finished October 2010. Light filled house with sky lights, soaring ceilings, floor to ceiling windows with unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean, Headland Mountains, crashing waves and San Francisco beyond. Huge wrap around deck, private deck off master bedroom with Adirondacks and lounge chair for sunning, relaxing, watching the waves or nighttime stargazing. Hawks and falcons fly overhead as whales and dolphins pass by at various times of the year.
After a day of hiking the endless coastal and mountain trails, watch the moon rise from your living room window seats, enjoy a BBQ on your deck, take a deep bathtub soak to relax, and finally get lulled to sleep at night by the sounds of the crashing Pacific waves and the far off fog horn which escorts boats through the Golden Gate Bridge!

Beautiful house with stunning views, well stocked, spotlessly clean on arrival, bedrooms downstairs, loved feeding the scrub jays and had the deers in the garden. The drive to the property is about 20 minutes on a winding mountain road and the walk to the beach is via lots of stairs. The seating in the lounge is not that comfortables and no sunset but overall this property is outstanding

Really beautiful house and location. Must confess, I realized more that driving up and down mountains makes me nervous, but that’s a me thing.The house and its amenities were excellent, the property manager, Scout, very helpful. It’s a 20-30 min drive down for food, gas or stores, so something to consider. But that’s the sacrifice for such an amazing view. The walk down to the beach is a good stair workout.

This home is absolutely beautiful and the view is breathtaking. The only thing we did not like was that there are no curtains/blinds anywhere. Not in the bedroom, living room, bathroom…nowhere! We felt like we had no privacy. During the day, it’s no big deal but at night it was (in my opinion) very creepy. It made us very uncomfortable knowing that anyone could possibly be looking in at you while you sleep, when you step out the shower…etc. We rented the house for two nights but after the first night we checked out early because we were so uncomfortable with the no curtains/blinds situation. If this is ok with you, you will absolutely love this home.
