About this cabin rental
Welcome to our house by the creek! We hope you enjoy your time relaxing by the babbling creek. The house has been completely renovated with upgraded amenities for your comfort and enjoyment.
The cabin is located in Christopher Creek, just under 2 hours from Phoenix, AZ, nestled in the scenic Rim Country just outside of Payson, AZ. Come enjoy a relaxing weekend or weekly getaway. For the nature lover, fill your days with the many outdoor adventures close by or kick back, relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of Christopher Creek, as it runs right off the back deck.
The stone fireplace is the main feature in the kitchen/family room. Two bedrooms are located off the family room area. The downstairs master bedroom has a king bed and full bathroom. The upstairs master bedroom also offers a king bed and a full bathroom. The second bedroom offers 2 twin beds and a full bathroom right across the hall. The bonus room has a bunk bed (twin over full).
The kitchen is well equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, pots and pans, dishes, glassware and basic provisions such as seasonings, sugar, cooking oil, etc. Home also features a washer and dryer.
Relax and enjoy the large deck overlooking scenic Christopher Creek. Read a book, nap in a lounger or sit around and play cards at the table.
Outside you will find a fire pit and a large gas grill.
Fully furnished with all amenities , bedding, towels, and WiFi.
If you don't feel like cooking while on vacation there is are 2 great restaurants just 1/2 mile away.

Summer temperatures fluctuate for Payson. Christopher Creek is a bit cooler especially being next to the creek. We recommend opening both patio doors for cross ventilation of fresh air.

Perched right above the creek, this roomy house/cabin was perfect for our stay. Inside was clean and comfortable...(suggest a few lamps and a side table or two, be added by the sofas); Having three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom was great; parking was easy, deck was large and would be a great party place. We didn't use the game room with bunk beds, but that space would be great for families with children. Suggest the instructions to not lock the entry door be highlighted so guests really understand how it works. Suggest one entry have a ramp available to assist those using a walker. And, suggest marking the edge of the outside stairs with reflecting tape or paint so they're more visible at night would be an added safety measure. Would we go there again? Yes!

Our host, Kevin was cordial and responsive. I can see why he is a premier host. This is a very nice cozy place on the creek. There was a large deck overlooking the creek, with a rod iron fence all around so we did not have to worry about kids. I love the game room/ bedroom with a bunk bed and day bed. There are 2 masters which was perfect for our group. They even had a cabinet with spices, etc. The pantry had an automatic motion light. The neighborhood was beautiful and I felt safe and secure. We enjoyed the birds and ducks. The general store was just a short .4 mile scenic walk. Close to lodges, taverns and lakes. I wouldn't recommend turning on the units in the bedrooms as they were a little loud however the weather was amazingly beautiful so they weren't really needed. We had the greatest time and I would highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay in the pines. The wooden floors in the downstairs master were a beautiful blue vintage wood and the dressers were so unique. I will stay again. Very comfortable and perfect for our group retreat. Thank you Kevin for an awesome stay!
