The condo is exquisitely furnished with vaulted ceilings, ceiling fans, elegant tile floors, and vibrant tropical décor, all of which contribute to creating the ideal ambiance for your vacation.
Step onto the spacious balcony and bask in the abundant natural light streaming through the grand patio windows. Pros: Safe, clean and beautiful area and condo. Cons, Beach was not useable, covered in seaweed on beach and water. We travelled to other areas, so not a big deal for us. 2 AC unit dripped (we kept all units above 72). Top floor bathroom not finished, needs a step and handrail installed.
Overall, enjoyed our stay, just needs some things fixed or finished

Palmas Del Mar is a gated community with several gated communities within the main community. It felt extremely safe for myself and three children. The beach was rough on the east side with seaweed due to tropical storms. We be out each day to other beaches. Definitely rent a vehicle as Palmas Del Mar is not located close to San Juan or other attractions.
We loved the unit. Plenty of space. With two daughters and one son, it gave us each space to shower separately and sleep separately. We’d definitely book again. Unit had boogie boards, cooler, beach towels, and other items needed for a weeks stay.
Do not leave food items on counter as ants will find it. We had to throw away our expensive pastries bought at the nearby hotel. Heavy rains caused some water to get into the condo, so we notified the staff at Surfside Rentals and expect that to be fixed asap. Otherwise, a perfect vacation.

The unit is located on the beach, which We loved! The pool was clean and never too crowded. The Palmas community had good restaurants and was so clean and safe. Due to the brown algae (no fault of the property) the beach wasn’t usable until the end of the week. However- it’s Puerto Rico and there are many beautiful beaches. We ended up at Luquillio Beach with its beautiful and clear waters. As for food shopping, go the Walmart in Humacao, it has everything you need just 10 minutes away. We rented a golf car to zip around Palmas and enjoyed that- very useful when going to on property restaurants. If you like regular beach chairs, you can rent them at most beaches along with umbrellas. It looks like you can rent them right on the beach in Palmas, but it wasn’t open due to the algea. They will provide you with 2 camp style chairs to use at the beach. Loved that the unit had a washer and dryer- super useful. All in all a great vacation.

I’ve rent for 8 people and only 4 make it. And only found 2 bathroom paper for 4 and it wasn’t enough. No way to connect with wifi or internet. Had to call asking for more trash can liners.we only got 2 for 4 days. The split on the 1rst bedroom it was leaking and my mom got her clothes wet.
