We have stayed at Rising Bear before (also first floor) and thoroughly enjoyed it. That is why I was happy to see this listing even though it was a much higher fee (for off season) than our previous property we rented. With this unit being an end unit with the deck on the end our view was that of large construction machines vs the courtyardview was

The unit is as described and pictured. The walk to the base isn’t far but a big set of stairs you have to climb which was tough with little ones. Communication with Carl was amazing. I would definitely recommend this! Pool and ice skating right outside the lodge.
