Lovely peaceful getaway

Clean warm and cozy inside, quiet and remote location which is perfect for a relaxing getaway. However still has WiFi and good phone signal. Location has stunning scenery and is only a short drive away from Bala lake.

Lovely converted barn with beautiful views in a very quiet location up a farm track but close to the main road to Bala. It has everything you need, has a large, very comfortable bed and is very cosy and warm. We would definitely stay here again.

Brilliant location for what we wanted from the area, luckily we had one clear night and the stars were amazing to see from the outside area. Snug little barn conversion, ideal for a couples break.

Perfect stay to reset and recharge

Cosy and idyllic location! A lovely getaway from the city to enjoy peace and nature. Host was so friendly but not intruding, which meant we always felt we could ask for anything we needed whilst also feeling like we were the only people on the location. Great location for beautiful walks with lots of information on tourist attractions, walks, cycling and farm shops etc in the property.

Amazing, peaceful, comfortable stay

The place was amazing and so peaceful. 10 minutes drive from Bala Lake, such a relaxing place with everything you need. All cooking utensils, dvd’s, books, toiletries. We would definitely return here. So comfortable too.

Spectacular views from every corner of the property! The barn is tastefully renovated and very cosy, and the use of wood throughout adds to the character. We especially enjoyed the privacy, peacefulness and comfortable facilities. The property is spotless and the kitchen is equipped with everything (and more) you could possibly need. This was easily one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. Thank you!

Welsh bliss

Every single thing was perfect. Every amenity you’ll ever need. So so so peaceful location wise and it was everything we dreamed of for a small getaway for my 30th birthday. Karen is such a great host and the stay was just phenomenal.

Just sad we couldn’t get the fire pit going because we kept forgetting to buy fire starters 😂

Would definitely stay again - a beautiful home in a beautiful location!

The location was gorgeous and quiet, the barn itself was cute, cozy and well looked after, parking was easy, the bed was a great size and comfortable, and the local info was super helpful. I left something valuable behind and Karen, the host, was great about getting it back to me. Overall we had a wonderful stay and feel like the hosts have clearly put time and effort into making the stay easy and enjoyable.

The sofa and chairs inside and out weren't the comfiest for long sits - would have been fab if they could have allowed for more of a leisurely dinner and drink outside to watch the sunset etc.

It was very cosy, had a heated floor in bathroom, and the bed is big & comfy. Bedroom is in the roof so you'll have to watch your head occasionally.

Lovely place to stay, great views, great area, im coming back

The views were great, facilities inside the house were very nice and homely, we enjoyed looking at the photos of renovation and comparing the room to the photos. I loved the collection of cycling books. The host had great guidebook with lots of info about the property and surrounding area. The underfloor heating is very welcome after a day riding trails.

Lovely building overlooking the countryside, fantastic views - beautiful sunrises even in winter! Peaceful and visited by plenty of wildlife. Close to Snowdonia, perfect for walking, climbing and cycling among many other outdoor activities.

Me gustó mucho el entorno. Está en plena montaña y la vista es preciosa. La casa está bien equipada y cuida el detalle.

Nada. El wifi no nos fue muy bien, pero no nos pareció mal, ya que buscábamos desconectar. :)
