Excellent unit with a beautiful view of the gulf. Phoenix facilities are well kept and direct access to the beach is a plus.

There were some really nice benefits to this condo, but there were also some things that were really frustrating. I'm happy to break down both of them here:
The positives are the included covered parking space, which made it easy to come and and go as we pleased. The Phoenix building are popular, which would've made parking tough otherwise. Having a covered spot (with easy access to the elevator) made it really easy to get in and out, keep our vehicle cool, and protect us from having to load/unload in any rain.
The view in this condo is also breathtaking. We were even able to see dolphins leaping the surf one morning while sitting out on the balcony and having our breakfast. Condos on lower floors simply don't offer that same view.
The floor plan is also convenient for those with children since the extra bedroom is so far away from the living room/master bedroom. Furthermore, the condo is close to the elevator and uses a code rather than a key--a big benefit for days at the pool/beach.
Unfortunately, there were some pretty significant downsides to this unit, as well. The condo was pretty filthy when we got there, and we spent the first hour of our stay cleaning. The dining room table hadn't been cleaned, there were old toiletries still left in the shower, and, perhaps most importantly, there were several hard, crusty yellow stains on the master bedroom bedspread. Also, the inside lock was snapped off, meaning there was no way to lock the door from the inside. It made us nervous having the kids so far from us all night and so close to a code-activated door, with no way to lock the door from the inside.
The owner gives you a phone number to call if you have any cleanliness or maintenance concerns, but we didn't have much luck using it. We called three times our first night about the lock and the bedspread, but no one ever came. The lock was fixed on our third day at the condo, and we had to sleep without a bedspread for the entire time, as it was never replaced.
Lastly, and this is a minor detail, the couch is very worn out and very uncomfortable.
That said, we had a fun trip. The Phoenix buildings are very nice, the pool is great, the beach is close, and there's tons to do in the area. We won't be booking with these renters again, but we'd definitely stay in a Phoenix condo again!
