Charming Wine Country Cottage

Great place to stay and very hospitable hosts. The building is located just behind the host's home, but they are quiet and very polite. The yard is beautiful, and you are encouraged to look around and enjoy the garden. Air conditioning: There is an air conditioning unit in the living room window. We were able to open up the house and turn on the windows to cool it down at night, and the house is well insulated, so that worked well to keep it cool during the day. Kitchen: Outfitted with the basics. We only needed it to prepare cereal, and cheese & crackers, and it worked well for that. Clean: Everything felt very clean and tidy. I didn't have issues with anything cleanliness-wise. El Molino Central: The house is within a 5-minute walk of El Molino Central. You HAVE to go if you stay here. The food is incredible and they have earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand for it. You won't regret it. Curtain Note: All the curtains in the home and in the bedroom are sheer. If you have trouble sleeping with sunlight, definitely plan ahead and bring an eye mask. The sheer curtains in the bedroom did make me uncomfortable for privacy reasons. That window does face a fence, but there is nothing preventing someone from walking back there, and that exposure made me a little uneasy.

Super clean cottage perfect for a quiet getaway for two. Close to downtown Sonoma. Host very good at communicating. We would stay here again. Thank you Lance and Sandy for sharing your place with us.

Great location to start! Easy to get to. For two people, the space was perfect! The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful! The welcome book contained great suggestions. They had a Bocce Ball court and after a Harvest Party, we came back and had a wonderful time!! I enjoyed the patio every night!
