Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

Living room/kitchen area was great for a group. When you enter, you have to walk up maybe 15 stairs to kitchen/liv area, then another 15 up to the bedrooms. No luggage racks. Had to search for towels. Never found tissues. Nice to have the gas grill, though it was empty on arrival so had to cook burgers inside (very messy) first night. Then next day despite asking for it to be switched out, tank was left at our door to lug up and do it ourselves. And the driveway is a complete hazard where one could easily back up and drive over a ledge! Overall a good place but not worthy of 5*.

The condo as perfect for our family. Everything was spotless. The kitchen is very well equipped and up to date. Great location near town and the slopes.

Roomy, clean townhome in n a great location! Nice and sunny, and the dogs loved the fenced yard! Would definitely stay there again!

Things we loved; host was great, very attentive! Dog friendly, our 12 yo doggie loved the fenced backyard and large dog bowl! The townhome feels spacious as advertised. We enjoyed the large family room and kitchen, with the main room and 1/2 bath. We appreciated the parking situation; it was easy to park 3 vehicles. Quiet cul-de-sac. Things we didn't like; showers in both upstairs bathrooms need attention, including the very slow drains, moldy shower curtains, and cheap shower heads that blast almost a single stream of water. Top-floor fire alarm needs the battery replaced more regularly; woke us up with a chirp. The exhaust fan light above the stove flickered on and off like a strobe light; it was unusable, making it hard to see when cooking. No chair in the primary suite. In general, the above list of things we didn't like made the property feel lacking in a certain level of comfort. The feel was more older vacation home vs experiential rental.
