Situated just one block off Estero Blvd, in a quiet residential neighborhood, this home provides a private, tranquil setting just around the corner from the beach. The main attraction of this home is the comfortable and private backyard with tasteful landscaping surrounding the property. You'll spend endless hours here soaking up the sun, swimming in your private in-ground heated pool. The peaceful setting will make you feel as though you have escaped the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This well appointed home has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths & will sleep a maximum of 8 people. The upper level has a screened porch overlooking the peaceful residential neighborhood. The kitchen is bright and open and enhances the dining area for 6. Listen to your favorite tunes with the bluetooth speaker while you dine, then move into the living room to relax on the sofas, curl up with an enjoyable book, watch your favorite TV show on a 65" HD Smart TV with high speed streaming. You can also open the sliding doors to watch the amazing SW Florida sunsets from the screened in porch.
The full kitchen/breakfast bar with seating for 3 comes with everything you'll need for preparing your perfect meals. The bedrooms are located down the hall from the main living area. In the master, rest comfortably on the brand-new memory foam King size bed in the master bedroom and enjoy a movie in your 50" HD Smart TV. A relaxing shower in the private elegant en-suite master bathroom with walk-in shower awaits you.
The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, also with a brand-new memory foam bed with dresser and 50" smart TV with streaming. The third bedroom has two twin beds, dresser and 50" TVs . Queen sofa sleeper in the living room sleeps two more for a total of 8 guests.
There is a pack'n play for those who might be traveling with little ones, plus a booster & a high chair. Side rails and stroller upon request. Special toddler tableware. The two guest bedrooms share a full bathroom with a tub. Both bathrooms have hair dryers and starter shampoos, conditioners and lotions.
For your convenience, this home is outfitted with free, wireless, high-speed internet streaming service. The washer & dryer are located on the main floor (with starter detergent) and for those of you with allergies, you can rest assured this home is smoke free. The pool area is just lovely and inviting. Soak up the sun in your favorite lounger or dine in the outdoor table for six with additional seating area for another six. Grill your favorite meal in the propane grill. The warm and inviting pool is beckoning you!
For our guests travelling with their dogs, this home is pet friendly. The property is fully fenced (in the backyard area). A maximum of two dogs are allowed. There is a pet fee of $150 per dog, two dog maximum and only with prior approval from owner. Some breeds are not permitted. Owner reserves the right to prior approval. Pet waiver is required. Payment must be made at check out. Make sure to check the pet fee (VRBO only collects one so I will send an additional request for the second pet)

Outdoor cameras are installed for the safety of our guests and to make sure any additional people and/or pets are paid for in advance. Failure to do so will mean you will receive an immediate request for additional guest/pet fees. Failure to pay will result in being asked to leave. Travel Insurance is highly recommended to protect your investment/travel plans. Such companies as Allianz, Travel Guard, Generali, etc. There are no refunds for any reason once inside the 30 day window. No exceptions.
Of course, you've come to Fort Myers Beach to enjoy the beach, Connecticut Ave (beach access 12) is just a 2-minute walk from the house. Here you'll have access to the 7 miles of white sugar sand beach to walk or go shelling. This vacation property is perfectly located mid-island. The Publix grocery store is less than 1 mile away with the new Snook Bite Marina right behind it. Award winning Fresh Catch Restaurant and Junkanoo's are just behing the Publix and adjacent to the Marina. Here, or at the Fishtale Marina in the Villa Santini shopping center, you can get fresh fishing bait, rent a boat for the day, or enjoy a delicious meal in their waterfront restaurants. Other wonderful restaurants, shopping are all close by both on the North End (Times Square) or South End (Santina Plaza). Trolley stops going both North and South bound are just a 1-minute walk from the house on Estero Blvd for just $.75 a ride or purchase an all-day pass for $2. Enjoy Blue Lagoon, your own personal oasis!

The house is beautiful and very comfortable. Although we did not do a lot of cooking the kitchen was well equipped. Great beach access. Owner was easily accessible although we did not need to contact during our stay.

The Blue Lagoon was a fabulous stay! Our family of 5 stayed over Christmas and enjoyed everything about the property! The short walk to the beach was awesome with chairs and cart provided. The heated pool was delightful too. The cottage is decorated to feel like a real home and most of all Gabriela has stocked it with everything you could need. The kitchen had more small appliances and pots, pans , etc than my own home! There were bikes on property but the chains were rusted so we chose to rent some. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!!

Overall, the stay was a place to stay close to the beach. The first night, the air conditioning quit working. It was up to 87 in the house and after discussions with the owner, the air was fixed the next evening. After reading the welcome book, we found out that tenants are limited on how cool the house temperature can be due to possibility of the unit freezing, repairs are at tenants expense. A few days later, the pump to the pool went haywire and backwashed stuff into the pool, and with water spraying directly on to the electric box, our 17 yr old was asked to turn off the breaker. Our daughter also continued to be bit by something in her bed which lead to additional stripping of the bed to wash and to clean the room in fear of either bed bugs or sand fleas. After review it seems as if the mattress covers are not cleaned frequently as well as cleaning around furniture. Nearly every dish used had to be washed from residue remaining on the dishes. My better half threw away empty boxes that other tenants had left behind, washed dishes that was put away dirty and sticky, washed all linnens and towels. There is a short in one of the lights in one of the bedrooms, a cord plugged in in the utility shed that has a metal prong stuck out of it which is a concern for any family with small children. Issues brought up didnt seem like big concerns, so we quit bringing things up. We ended the stay early.
