About this apartment rental
The 37 m2 suite is at the bottom of a contemporary house, with a clear view of the Alps and the windmill of St Michel.
The house is part of a small subdivision of 7 houses with private access to the edge of the village of St Michel l'Observatoire in the Luberon park. It was built as a bioclimatic house, that is to say designed to take advantage of the natural characteristics of the site.
It has independent parking, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, a bedroom (two people) and a sofa bed in the living room (two people). The 12m x 3m swimming pool is exclusively reserved for holidaymakers.
The village of St Michel has a restaurant, a pizzeria, a grocery store, a butcher, a bakery, an artisanal ice cream shop and a tobacco bar. If you prefer not to use the car, you have everything you need to eat well.
There is also a tourist office, an astronomy center, the Observatoire de Haute Provence, and the windmill which can be visited during the summer. For hikers there are trails allowing you to find the beautiful landscape around the village and further. There are also trails for mountain bikers.
Forcalquier, with its Provencal market, entertainment, two supermarkets and a tourist office, is 10 minutes by car. Also, the village of Mane, with the priory and gardens of Salagon, and the town of Manosque, are nearby. The mountain of Lure is 40 minutes by car (a little more if you prefer cycling), as well as the magnificent gorges of Verdon.

Sehr schöne FeWo mit großer Terrasse und tollem Pool ganz für uns alleine. Toll angelegter Garten. Mit traumhaftem Ausblick auf Lavendelfelder, Olivenhaine und Weinberge. In der komplett ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung hat es an nichts gefehlt (zwar ohne TV , den haben wir aber nicht vermisst ).
Super nette Gastgeber, die sehr gut englisch sprechen.

Nous avons passé 15 jours de rêve avec une vue magnifique et apaisante.
La piscine est privative. Sa dimension 12 m x 3 m permet de réellement nager.
Nos hôtes accueillants, à l'écoute et super discrets. Une belle documentation sur les activités régionales.
L'appartement offre tout le confort et le matériel pour cuisiner.
Très bonne connections Wi-Fi.
Le village est accessible en 5 minutes à pieds.
Bref, nous comptons revenir à nouveau 15 jours l'année prochaine.

L'appartement lumineux et très confortable, le jardin avec sa superbe piscine, la vue magnifique, le calme, le village adorable à cinq minutes à pied, l'accueil à la fois chaleureux et discret de Chris et Theresa, les possibilités infinies de visites dans la région que permet l'emplacement de la maison... Que dire de plus ? Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse et sommes déjà nostalgiques. Nous y retournerons !
