About this cabin rental
Spread out in fifty acres of field and forest or curl up by the original rock fireplace in our 1860's log cabin– just minutes from historic downtown Rogersville.
We love East Tennessee, so we take measures to reduce environmental impact and support our neighbors and regional makers.
Enjoy simple, natural pleasures with modern comforts, all while leaving a low ecological footprint.

This is a working farm! While dogs are allowed, please keep in mind we have farm animals which are enclosed in electric fencing. They will be kept far from the cabin during your stay.
Feel free to approach, look at, and photograph the animals—but please do not touch them unless we are present!

This 1860's log cabin was moved from Surgoinsville to this spot in the 1970's.
The master bedroom is on the first floor; the other two are upstairs. The home is equipped with two full baths– downstairs has a shower, upstairs a clawfoot tub with a "handshower". We care about cooking, so our kitchen is fully equipped. There is a coal grill and outdoor seating on the patio as well as a gas fireplace in the living room.
Every room holds furnishings and decor that have been around for decades or more. Please enjoy them gently.
We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible. Feel free to reach out with any questions about your accommodations.

We had a wonderful weekend here and really enjoyed the way they updated the cabin for modern comfort and convenience while preserving the historical character and charm of the log cabin. Communication with the host was exceptional and the cabin was exactly as pictured. We will definitely consider staying here when we visit Rogersville again!

Charming cabin on a great property. We enjoyed walking the paths and all of the wildlife. Great outdoor seating. Comfy and cozy. Amber and Sal were amazing host. Great communication. Experiencing Sal’s cooking is worth it!Bed was very comfortable, everything you could possibly need was there from coffee and creamer to band aids. We did not need, but present. Wi-Fi extended to outside to extend work environment. Overall high ratings and we will return for our next work trip to the area.

This was my first solo trip ever! I packed up and took my dog with me. We explored the property, hiked up the trail cut out on the mountain side many times, had coffee on the porch every morning, a fire every night. Read a book by the fireplace, ate breakfast by the large window overlooking the property and just soaked it all in. Felt very peaceful and safe here. The host was very sweet and very responsive! Highly recommend
