About this apartment rental
Brightly lit, recently remodeled condo surrounded by tall trees and open space with World Class fishing on the roaring Fraser River just steps from the front door. Convenient shuttle to slopes from just outside our building. Modern recreation center with pool, hot tubs, pool tables and workout equipment. Short walk to downtown Winter Park restaurants, including the world famous Hernandos Pizza and Randy's Irish Pub, bowling alley, movie theater, Rendezvous Concert Venue and Headwaters wedding venue. This spacious 3-bedroom features big windows, a front porch overlooking the river, a large moss rock fireplace, a 40-inch flat screen TV, and a modern kitchen.
Enjoy remodeled bathrooms, stainless steel appliances and hickory cabinetry in the kitchen(fully stocked with dishes, pans, spices, etc.), spacious living room (complete with board games and puzzles), leather couches and mountain lodge-style decor. Free wi-fi in the unit. All beds are new and comfortable.
Grand County community center is also within walking distance and features full work-out center, water slide, lap pool, sauna, hot tub, steamroom, climbing wall etc. Sled hill and snowshoing/hiking/mountain biking trails within walking distance.
In the SUMMER, host a barbecue on the grassy Creekside lawn out front, or take a hike or bike ride on the nearby Fraser River trail or Idlewild Trail System. Easy walk to outdoor festivals.
The master bedroom features a queen bed with plush down comforter and private bathroom with shower. The second large bedroom has a queen bed. Third bedroom has a bunk bed with double on bottom and twin on top.

Had a great stay. Host was well organized. Condo was comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking meals. Location was walking distance to restaurants.

Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. Condo was nicer than expected. There is a full washer and dryer in the unit. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

First impression was negative. We walked into the condo and it appeared the previous tenants had just left; beds unmade, towels in the tubs, floor dirty…the cleaning crew had clearly not been there. After multiple panicky calls (5) to Lisa over 20 minutes, she finally answered, and then responded to the problem, found a team to clean up after insisting this had never happened before. Since we had children who needed some diversion while waiting for the cleaning crew to arrive, we were able to bring the kids to the nearby (5 minute walk) Rec center to kill time while the place was made ready.
Lisa subsequently made every effort to make our stay pleasant and adjusted our account. It was a difficult start to our vacation, and since we were only using the condo for two days, provided a difficult process for us.
The condo met our expectations except it was quite warm (no overhead fans), the screen door was difficult to open due to a defective latch, kitchen soap was depleted, and we really wish they had advised us to bring our own charcoal & lighter fluid in order to use BBQ outside. The gurgling stream outside the front door was enjoyable, and reasonably priced restaurants were in walking distance. It’s an older unit, but fairly well maintained. We’d stay there again if we were in the area, lots of fun things to do and it is nicely located.
