A quiet comfortable place. Clifftops is a lovely community with a laake pool and great hiking trails. Best of all for us, it is only locate about 20 minutes from the Caverns.The house is amazingly well equiped. Everything from canoes and kayaks for the lake to a washer and dryer when you fall in. A huge screened in porch with a great view into the woods, is a great place to take your meals.

We had a great weekend in this little cabin located on a quiet street nestled in the woods of the extremely lovely Clifftops gated community. It was literally like having the pleasure of staying inside a private state park with comfortable accommodations. The screened in porch was a delight and we spent a great deal of time there enjoying the beautiful weather on the bench swing and reclining on the elevated porch bed. It is conveniently located between Main St. in Monteagle and the University in Sewanee. We found several nice walks in the area, enjoyed seeing the beautiful community lake, and had two incredible meals. (La Bella Pearl’s in Sewanee is not to be missed!) Top that all off with easy communication with our hosts, making this a perfect way to kick off the Fall season! Many thanks.
