For the guys to stay for our fishing tournament. Close to the ramp and only 8 minutes from our tournament take off at Yarborough landing! A little yard work would really make it nice.

We enjoyed our weekend. We were at Milwood Lake for a high school fishing tournament. The place was in a great location. And, had ample beds for our group. The parking couldn’t have been better, we were able to get two trucks with boats and additional vehicles into the space. Very pleased with this rental!

The owners of this place do communicate very well. Any time I had a question, they were very quick to respond. I'm used to having my check in details a few days in advance. At the latest, 24 hours in advance. We didn't get any check in details until the day of check in which makes a worrier like me super anxious, but thankfully that all worked out ok. The house was very clean and was as advertised. The first night my husband and I stayed in the bedroom with the queen bed near the flower garden with the pond. We ended up finding at least 5 spiders that night/morning. So we moved to the middle bedroom. I was willing to pay the extra beds used fee for this because I'm terrified of spiders. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to use to cook during our stay. There were no complaints from the kids about their beds but the queen beds did have my and my husband holding our backs as we walk, but that age is also a factor there too lol. The landscaping could use some TLC. We enjoyed our view of the water. We walked down to sit on the picnic tables on the water several times during our stay. The neighbor across the street from the back of the house did have music playing annoyingly loud from sun up til sun down one day. Which that is no fault of the owners but just something to note if you're looking for a quite day in nature. Overall we had a nice trip and we loved passing all the farm animals when coming in and out from this house 😊

Overall it was nice. A few concerns were the firepit should be closer to the house by the deck area for easier usage. The little pond area needs to the grass cut around it, tall grass invites snakes. The hot tub was not real warm and location could be on flat ground rather than having to climb steps and worry about falling. Everything inside was excellent and we truly enjoyed the house. Outside area did need some work. Overall, we would rent again.

Great little cabin near the boat ramp. Decent boat parking out back for normal size truck and bass boat. Gas grill needs repair or replacement but did find a charcoal grill that is in good shape. Great communication with home owner and Pam was very helpful. The cabin is well stocked with everything you would need. Back room AC not fully functional and the owner is looking into it. Main cabin AC is very nice and cools well.

This was such a fun place with everything we needed for the weekend. So many perks about this place - plenty of room for lots of guests, nice kitchen and bathroom, washer and dryer were nice to have, smart TV, fun loft upstairs, and beautiful fenced in yard that is right near the pier and lake. Love the signing wall in the sunroom too! Screen patio was also a plus!

We stayed for twelve days and I really appreciated how well the house was supplied! Spices, coffee, and laundry/dishwasher detergent, what joy :) Pam was quick to respond and took excellent care of our needs! We saw a turtle lay her eggs right in the front yard, we hope another guest can see them hatch! Lots of birds and beautiful views. The hot tub was a great way to relax on quiet days at the house. We had an excellent time! Thank you for sharing it!

Cute house by the lake

This house was super cute and located just across from a nice boat ramp and lovely covered deck. We arrived after dark, so the parking was slightly confusing, but we had plenty of room to turn around at the end of the road without really disturbing anyone (hopefully). In daylight, it was super obvious and there is plenty of room for parking. The house was VERY clean and ready for us to just relax after a long day of driving. We only used the 1 bed at the back of the house and it was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on, that wasn't my own. There is only 1 TV, in the main living area, but the Wi-fi is STRONG! I was able to watch shows on my tablet in the back room while my husband watched his preferred show in the LR. Our dogs had a great time checking out the yard and it was nice to let them run free with the chainlink fence surrounding the house. All of the lights, fans, and appliances worked with no issues. The bathroom is quite large, even with the washer and dryer in there. However, the shower is a bit small. It is an enclosed walk-in corner unit, but the shower head was very nice. :) All in all, this was a great place to stay and well worth the cost. If our plans put us back in that area, we will definitely try to rent this house again!

Nice quiet couple of days. Our phones did not work while at the home. The place was clean and had all the needed items. I think there is no HOA, so some of the neighbor homes were a little bit of a worry as we drove into the area, but we settled in nicely. I walked my small dog in the area with no problems. I would stay there again in warmer weather.
