We stayed at this beautiful home for a small women’s book club “Bookcation,” and it was absolutely perfect for our group. The house was spotless, spacious, and even more charming in person than in the photos. We thoroughly enjoyed the cozy reading spots to big gathering areas where we could cook, chat, and unwind. The location was peaceful and scenic, making it the ideal backdrop for a relaxing weekend. We loved exploring the nearby towns, hiking, and then coming back to a warm, welcoming space that felt like our own private retreat.Communication with the host was excellent, check‑in was easy, and the house had everything we needed for a stress‑free stay. Thank you Jorge and Lisa! We hope to return again some day.

I hosted my wedding at The Pines and unfortunately would not recommend it. Full details are available in the attached screenshot. Here's a brief summary of our experience:The Pines is historic, beautifully restored, and incredibly comfortable. My family and I loved our time there. Lisa, the property manager, is outstanding. She is knowledgeable, caring, and deeply invested in both the property and the guest experience. While my stay was wonderful once we arrived, the host’s sparse communication, last-minute contract, lack of transparency, and inability to fulfill his obligations in a timely manner made the planning process extremely stressful.
