This newly renovated, 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom unit is located in Town Plaza's Deer Lodge right near the heart of the village and a short walk from the base of Whistler Mountain. It features a fresh, modern look, cozy living room with gas fireplace.

Front Desk was pretty busy when we arrived. They were pretty rushed to get us checked-in. Found info in the suite lacking. There were two WELCOME binders, but not alot of information regarding the amenities or how to use any of the appliances. Couldn't figure out how to turn on the fireplace for awhile, especially because the switch seemed to be backwards. The indicator says ON (up) OFF (down) but when the switch is all the way UP the thermostat doesn't change. I finally switched it to the bottom setting, i.e. OFF position and I could change the temperature and get the fireplace to come on. Also, trying to get a hold of someone from Reception proved to be difficult. The suite was spacious and comfortable, especially because there were only 2 of us, instead of the planned 5 dog. I think 2 couple toddler dog would have been a little tight. I really enjoyed having the entire suite to myself, while my husband went skiiing with our niece. Pretended to have a SPA day and had a glorious bath. Thanks for a relaxing weekend.

We enjoyed our stay right in the heart of Whistler Village. Everything was right at our door step snd the unit had everything we needed. We will be back.

To be fair, we had a pretty good stay. Four people and stuff fit in comfortably. The view was great. Located right on the Stroll it was a good location, though a bit of walk to the lifts with skis, but just steps from many restaurants, shops and the market.
However, overall impression of the unit was that it was not well managed. The carpets could use a cleaning and some corners of the rooms and baths were missed altogether, with the one shower drain stopped up. Some of the furniture was a bit wobbly and the kitchen equipment was adequate but would not accommodate any real food prep. When we asked at the front desk for a few minor things to be taken care in the unit the answer was basically "no". For the money we paid for the unit we expected a bit more. It felt more like a hostel than a hotel.
