Relaxing

Our two night stay was wonderful! Philip and Muriel were very nice and welcomed us to their beautifully decorated home, in a very quiet and scenic area of Bougival. We had a spacious room with free use of a sitting room where we could relax, with a cup of tea or coffee. They showered us with drinks and snacks and the amenities were great. The citrus water that they prepared for us was so refreshing. The view from our window was top class and we had a wonderful walk along the Seine river. We would definitely recommend staying here, especially if you are driving.

Extremely welcoming hosts - lovely gardens and proximity to walking path along the Seine. A fully tuned guitar in the room was also a nice bonus!

The hill up to the house is steep and cobbled - take it very slowly!

Nice place and friendly hosts. Easy travel by car to Versailles and Paris. Host is helpfull if you need restaurant tips or need a taxi. Can also help you in English if you don't speak French. You can also sit in their nice garden. Free car park just outside their property.

Finding this can be tricky The navigation took us to the street immediately behind even though address correctly loaded Take the right turn just after the lights and go up heavily cobbled street If you want breakfast you need to pre book

Beautiful guesthouse outside Paris with easy transport options to access the city!

Wonderful setting and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed and roomy studio was perfect. Phillipe was a very thoughtful, friendly and generous host (didn’t actually meet Muriel).

This is not a criticism, but the very steep, cobbled lane upto the property might be difficult if you wished to leave car behind and have trouble with mobility! We took the car out every time. The quality of the guesthouse made up for it!

Excellent location for a night if travelling through. Beautiful views and spacious room. Phillippe is a very welcoming host. He helped us book a restaurant which was in an excellent location with delicious food.

Everything was well thought out except a box of tissues could be useful in the room, as the toilet is not within. Otherwise everything else was perfect.

a real pleasure

we found this accommodation when looking for something near to our relatives. We had the studio which was a lovely big room in a house overlooking the garden with a well equipped mini kitchen and everything we could possibly need. The house is beautiful and well maintained with added extras such as interesting ornaments. we were given the keys to the house and felt very at home straight away. Staying there was a great experience. At the top of a hill with a beautiful view and access to lovely garden.

Found pillows uncomfortable but the host was so nice - I am sure if we had said something, he would have sorted it. The house is at top of a steep road - you have to have a car to stay there.

Fantastic breakfast on the terrace with amazing views over Paris. Hosts were amazingly welcoming and helpfully offered to help us find a restaurant which they booked for us. We had a great meal by the river! The room is very large and comfortable with all you could ask for. Lovely views.

We really didn’t like having to leave our room to go to the toilet, which was accessible only via the shared landing. It also didn’t have a sink to wash your hands. At night this was not great.

The hosts. Phillippe was very welcoming and charm itself. He greeted us with cold drinks in the lovely garden, explained something about the area and made everything about our stay clear and simple. It is a lovely spot, very tranquil with an elevated position above the valley of the impressionists.

Le séjour idéal près de Versailles

Charmante petite escale à La Source de Bougival. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par nos hôtes, attentionnés et toujours aux petits soins. Merci encore à Philippe pour les conseils avisés et la réservation à La Maison Louveciennes. La chambre Jazzy nous a pleinement comblés par son confort et sa tranquillité. La baignoire avec rideau de douche peut surprendre, mais la salle d’eau reste fonctionnelle et très propre. C’est un lieu agréable et ressourçant, où l’on se sent tout de suite à l’aise. Nous serions ravis d’y séjourner de nouveau.

Ein sehr schönes Zimmer. Alles Notwendige ist vorhanden – und sogar noch mehr. Eine wunderbare Villa mit großartiger Aussicht. Sehr nette und höfliche Villa-Besitzer.

Die Villa befindet sich auf einem Hügel. Da ich ein krankes Knie und einen gebrochenen kleinen Zeh habe, war es unmöglich, zu Fuß hoch- oder runterzugehen. Deshalb haben wir immer ein Uber oder Bolt genommen, um zur Villa zu gelangen.
