Amazon Oasis Floating Lodge

Clean location staff friendly meals good breakfast included great for relaxation and a wind back

Getting noisy with boat traffic at times only thing

It is a gem close to amazon river, they pick you up (optional) from airport to this place. Night was in the nature feeling, day was calm and peaceful. Owners were kind locals, very helpful. They guided and drive me to the amazon rescue center & to the indigenous people s place with the boat. Breakfast was great, prepared how i wish. Fruit taste here was wow ! they have the basics like electricity, clean water, compfy bed, silent environment. There were no mosquitos inside the house, since i asked net to sleep, they gave it as well. The owner knows pretty good english, my phone s internet was not stable but i guess they had wifi.

Nothing

It’s unique location , the owner bros who took every step to provide us vegetarian food and provided us every meal different ! Mr Ceaser was an extremely nice host !

WiFi could have been better

The remote location on the river was very peaceful, and the staff (a big multigenerational family) were very helpful.

Communication was lacking . I didn't know I had to take a boat from Nanay to get there. The hotel has a boat but it isn't always available. I had just spent a week in the jungle; to pay this price and have only cold water in the shower was very disappointing. The room was very cold at night (in June) because it's surrounded on 4 sides by window screens and no window panes. I had difficulty sleeping the first night and had to ask for a blanket. Sometimes you can order dinner from the menu, sometimes there's only one dish available. The towel was brand new and left lint all over my skin. The only light in the room is very unpleasant. I was the only guest and I felt like I was interrupting a family reunion. (I heard there were 17 members of the family staying at the lodge.)
