Vale do Grou Natura

The place was very nice and special in the middle of a pair Orchard, but our host Elisabeth made it very memorable and one of our favorite places. She created a gorgeous and delicious breakfast that was huge and was very proud to tell us all about the history of the place and also about this part of Portugal. We also had full access to the kitchen, which made it extra convenient.

For us, it was nice to be out in the country, but to also be very close to the castle and walled city of Obidos. People will definitely want a car if they stay here.

This is an exceptional property with exceptional hosts who go above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The rooms and common areas are just as the pictures show. The breakfast was amazing. We highly recommend this place! We loved it and 100% recommend it! We would love to go back!!

We loved our stay for two nights. Great recently updated accommodation, communal room for games and cooking proved a big bonus. Breakfast was excellent- fresh fruit, fresh bread and good variety. Friendly and conscientious staff and owner. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

What an awesome place to stay, Roger and Nazaré welcomed us like family, incredible. Our room was lovely, the bed was super comfy and the bathroom was modern and well appointed. There was also an amazing communal lounge, dining and full kitchen, so good. The breakfast prepared by Roger and his daughter Elisabeth was amazing, nothing was overlooked. The location suited us perfectly, with a short drive to Óbidos, the Buddha Eden and other historic locations. Buddha Eden gardens was a gem of a find, set over 35 hectares it is way more than just another Buddha garden, there are thousands of sculpturers from all over, just beautiful. Roger also shared his local knowledge of the best places to wine and dine, a definite advantage when new to the area and language. Such a beautiful place to stay, we would not hesitate to return to Vale do Grou Natura again, superb.
