Very good location, very big apartment

The walls were super thin I could hear everything during the night…. Plus it was cold

We were pleasantly surprised on arrival. The rooms are so spacious and the appartment is decorated really quirky which we loved. Beds are huge, we loved it and would definitely stay again! I don’t think this appartment is given enough credit I’ve stayed in many appartments and none beats this on size. It’s very good value for money

It was very hot on a night however we contacted host and they responded immediately and dropped a fan off as requested which was so helpful. So thankyou so much !

The property was located in a more quiet part of town with great access to both Brynów and Śródmiescie. Walk down to the street level and be sure to visit the Krystyna Wraca z Wiednia Cafe for all breakfast and lunch needs. The apartment is in the modern style kamienica with large rooms and tall ceilings. The decor is a nice trip back to the interwar period of Polish city living.

We visited the property during a heatwave in July and the conditions, and property’s host response prevented any enjoyment of our stay. The internet was down and I spent first hour assisting with troubleshooting, and proving it doesn’t work, while the receptionist was on the phone with the manager running through many steps. Complete waste of time - instead of settling in, unpacking and resting after a long trip, we were forced to deal with a frustrated lady resetting circuit breakers and attempting to fix the problem she has no clue how to fix. I finally told her I work in IT and what is needed to fix the problem. The property has no AC - pretty common in those older kamienice - and being on a 2nd floor it was hot. This was expected. The property advertised that the fans were available upon request. Upon entering, we realized that there weren’t any fans and requesting them wasn’t easy. After much pressure, we received a single fan with a promise of more to be delivered. Those fans weren’t delivered the next day as promised and no updates were provided. The receptionist wasn’t responding to my messages forcing me to make international rate calls to reach her for any status. I told the host that I will be forced to buy fans and that they can deduct the cost of the fans from our stay. The receptionist said things aren’t cheap in Poland anymore, and that the manager had fans in an offsite storage, unavailable immediately, yet didn’t agree with my solution. Several times I asked for the contact with the property manager, which she refused to provide. Even a bigger lingering issue was the sewage smell from the bathroom bidet. Nothing like a that aroma to go with the art deco decor. We reported it several times and were told some procedure to run the water for a while would solve it.
