Wow this home was amazing!! We stayed her for my sisters spa bachelorette weekend. It was the perfect escape, the big backyard, fire pit, hot tub and hammock were wonderful! Not to mention the updated appliances and beautiful finishings. Not a single complaint about this beautiful home! Not to mention the host was super communicative and responsive to all our questions and concerns! Highly recommend!

We stayed in Milton's beautiful Sonoma home to celebrate a dear friend's 60th birthday and it could not have been more perfect! The location was outstanding for exploring downtown Sonoma and it's fantastic wineries. The home was equipped with everything we needed to have the perfect weekend, the beds incredibly comfortable and the amenities top notch. Milton was so responsive, helpful, kind and friendly - a great host. You cannot go wrong choosing his home!

I rented this for my siblings and me when we came to Sonoma for a family event, and it was perfect. The great room is arranged for easy hangouts without feeling cramped. A market is just a block away, and the square is an easy eight-block walk. We loved this place so much that we're already considering making it a yearly tradition!

The inside of the property was cute and comfortable. However it was VERY dirty and unclean. Non of the kitchen items, refrigerator, over all kitchen was dirty and really gross. The coffee pot had mold and dirt in the dispenser. Its unfortunate as I communicated to the owner that we left it more clean then when we arrived and he did not offer a cleaning refund. For the cost we should have had a clean place to stay

We adored this place! It's a beautiful space with the comfiest beds ever and a lovely backyard space to relax in. Everything was next level, from the cookware and dishes to the fancy rainshower. We were there for a wedding and were wishing we had more time to just hang out at the house. it was one of the most relaxing rental homes we've ever stayed in!

There were 5 of us visiting for a wedding. The property was wonderful. Looks just like the photos online. House was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Kitchen and Living area were great for spending time together. Our favorite area was probably the deck and backyard/hot tub. The weather in June was perfect for spending relaxing time between events outside. The house is located close to Sonoma Plaza, and many vineyards. Milton was very responsive to the few questions we had. I would stay here again and highly recommend the house for anyone.

The house was great. Close to downtown and grocery stores. We were there for a destination wedding. Roomy, open floor plan, great backyard. The beds are so comfortable. The only drawback is the bathrooms are small. The master bathroom has no counter space. If you are someone with many toiletries, it’s really a pain. I had to use the toilet lid for my make-up bag. Other than that one drawback all is great.

A glorious weekend in the wine country with this delightful home as our retreat was our happy experience last weekend. The lavender filled front yard, the roomy common areas, the comfortable bedrooms and the ample and graciously kept country backyard were all clean and beautifully appointed for a delightful visit. We look forward to having another Sonoma weekend on David Street someday. We left a bag there and the host was quite quick to notify us and assist in our picking it up. Thank you.

We had a wonderful three-night visit to Sonoma to celebrate some big birthdays. The house is exactly as advertised - gorgeous, clean, a perfect place to stay. Beds were comfortable, and the back patio and yard were the perfect places to relax after a long day in wine country. It is walkable to Sonoma Square - takes about 20-30 minutes to walk down. Loved being so close to town, yet on a quiet street. The house is set up beautifully with comfortable beds and seating and an amazing back deck to enjoy the weather. We can’t wait to return!

Really enjoyed our stay here. The home is great and is situated about 1 miles from center of Sonoma and 15-20 minutes to Napa. Quiet street and great backyard. Highly recommend anyone wanting to stay here you will love it. Plenty of room with 3 bedrooms.

My group of 6 enjoyed this property so much! It was a great location in Sonoma, we could walk to Wit and Wisdom restaurant and the Sonoma Bike Rentals. We also walked to HopMonk, but that was a bit too long. However, driving downtown was fast and to the grocery store. The property was awesome, we loved the yard the yard games and the spaciousness of everything. The beds were comfy and everything was great. We all agreed we would definitely stay again. Thank you for having us!

The Owner did not do the Right Thing

The Owner did not do the Right Thing

Our experience of staying in this house was a disaster. How the owner handled the issue made it even worse. We checked in on time and the house was a MESS ----- used sheets piled on the floor, garbage cans were full, kitchen countertops were dirty, leftover food in pantry drawer, sofa cushions stunk…we realized the house had not been cleaned! Another surprise, there is a two story house right on top of the backyard, no privacy at all. His pictures online are deceiving! We immediately attempted to contact the owner Milton, but no response. One hour later we tried again and finally he answered. He had no idea the cleaning team didn’t show up! Fast forward, we had to change plan for the night because leaving our belongings behind with cleaning service ongoing was not an option. After enduring two hours of loud vacuum noise, dirty laundry carried past us, all kind of chemical cleaning spray smells…our whole night was ruined. We asked Milton for compensation in the form of a one night refund, he offered 75% of this with no hesitation. We insisted on the one night refund, he said he had to talk to his partner. Next day he didn’t mention the 75% offer at all, he changed his offer to waiving the cleaning fee which equated to approximately 30% of our request or staying one more night for free. Really? What’s the difference between staying one night for free and a refund of one night? We believe Milton should have at least honored his original 75% offer. Accidents happen, as guests we expect the owner to do the right thing, keep your promise and handle the situation with honesty and integrity. We had a hard time finding these qualities from Milton. At the time of writing this review, we have received ZERO compensation from him.

I brought my daughters and friends to celebrate my one's 21st. This house had PLENTY of room for the 6 of us but you could comfortably get up to 10 with the extra blow ups and the huge leather sofa. The back yard was lovely but it was a bit nippy for us SOCA gals to alfresco. The fire pit would have been great but the time was limited, so maybe next time! The hottub was enjoyed by 2 in the group. The house has no lack of kitchen supplies and all in all a perfect home away from home.....

We were pleased to find that the photographs on VRBO were an accurate depiction of the house. It was a perfect place for three couples. The house is light-filled and spacious with an open floor plan and a well appointed kitchen. The beds were comfortable with good quality bedding. The back deck and yard were a nice compliment to the interior space. Milton Boyd, the owner was very responsive to the few questions we had about the house once we checked in. We would definitely choose the house again.

Stayed three nights in this newly refinished home. Unfortunately, it rained two of our days, so we couldn't enjoy the backyard, but had a great time anyway. Spacious main room and bedrooms. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Grilled out twice. Location was great for reaching many vineyards in Sonoma and getting to Napa. Owner was very accommodating. Nice place.
