About this apartment rental
CASA DORA is just 1 of our 7 fully self catering Gites here at "Mas Saint Antoine", this 17thC renovated farmhouse & converted outbuildings that make up the 7 gites is set in 2/3rds of an acre amidst open fields & orchards. Being on the main road between Avignon and St-Remy we are ideally situated for exploring all the best that Provence has to offer with no greater drive than 60mins to see it all. Our grounds have been fully landscaped into various garden themes and include a 12 x 6m swimming pool, summer house, a pond with waterfall, 300 year old olive trees and several secluded seating areas dotted around the gardens.
"Casa Dora" has been rebuilt on the old "porcherie". A ground floor gite with private terrace shaded by a climbing rose & banksia rose including lighting for that all important outside dining, a grape vine is grown alongside so please help yourself! Open plan Living/dining/kitchen with windows opening out onto the terrace. The fitted kitchen is fully equipped with under bench oven, electric hobs, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, coffeemaker, toaster, kettle etc. Radio/tape/CD player, IPOD docking station with radio and alarm clock. TV with UK free to view channels & DVD player.
Large main double bedroom with queen size bed, built in closet with own ensuite. Second bedroom with 2 single beds, open clothes storage and own ensuite.
All linens and bathroom towels are supplied free of charge. Free access to separate Pool towels are also available. washing machine facilities including free detergent is shared with the other guests on a rotational basis. Access to your own Gas BBQ.
The swimming pool and landscaped gardens are shared with the other guests.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Mas Saint Antoine in October. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath Casa Dora was perfect for our needs! The kitchen was equipped with everything we could want. The grapevine coverered patio was an enjoyable place to have breakfast or dinner--very private.And we did enjoy the brief daily visits from the 3 chickens and Poodle, the cat.
Keryn and Kerrin gave us lots of great ideas and maps. They were always friendly and helpful. Having the breakfaast package there when we arrived from 24 hours of travel was wonderful. We highly recommend that service if you will be staying several days.
The location was SO convenient to all of the towns and historic sites that we visited.
Having english speaking innkeepers was a great help to us--and to many others who stayed in the various rooms and apartments.
I could go on and on but I think that you can tell that we loved our stay and would certainly stay there again if we were to visit that part of the country!

We stayed at Mas St. Antoine for a week at the beginning of a 3 month trip to France. It turned out to be an excellent choice, and was a wonderful start to our fabulous trip. We had Le Kiwi which was a studio with a large kitchen attached, and it suited our needs very well. It was very clean and well presented.
There was an outdoor bbq area also, which we made use of. The large farmhouse is divided into quite a number of separate gites, some stand alone around a large pool. The outdoor gardens and pool are lovely, and beautifully kept. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Rognonas makes a great jumping off point for exploration of Provence, and while there we visited Avignon, St. Remy,Arles,Pont du Gard,Isle sur la Sorgue and other places. We would recommend this place to visitors to Provence.

We stayed at this rural farm setting for 4 days; I wish it had been for 4 weeks. The property is fairly large and has several suites, all roomy, nicely appointed, with full kitchen facilities and full bathroom and showers. Every morning the owners deliver croissants and baquettes to your door. There are outdoor sitting areas (verandas) and a large pool. It is quiet and most relaxing and the young owners are very knowledgable about the area and will help you in your daily excursions. It is centrally located providing esay access to a variety of interesting sites. The owners go to great lengths to meet the needs of their guests. Mas St. Antoine is a 5 star facility but only charges 2 star prices. Come once and you'll want to keep coming back.....I know we will.
